Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Diamond Feng Shui Satisfy facing door or best direction?

I just completed a first run of the Essentials course, and have a question regarding which direction requirements to satisfy:

One of the rules mentioned for the desk in my office or bed in my bedroom is that they should be such that I face the main door so that I can see oncoming opportunities.

What should I do if the general design of the room is such that door is in such a location that it is not in the success direction? Should I position the desk in my office or bed in my bedroom so that I am in the success direction or that I face the door? Which rule is more important (or powerful)?

Go for the best scenario you can get as your space allows. The most important aspect is for you to sleep / work towards one of your good directions.

Notice I said best "directions". Check if you can have a veiw of the door while facing one of the other three, starting next with Health.
