Hi Alex, and everyone!

I sometimes think about work when I am not at work...not a problem usualy, as it can lead to creativity. When I have dificulty (with a highly competitive coworker) at work, though, it tends to stay on my mind at home...especialy when I am awake in bed or trying to get quiet time...

I was thinking of using the Breaking the Habit Cd for this...with New History and NBG or some combination. Any thoughts about this? Ideas about how to phrase it?

Thanks

Do you have the Abundance For Life course? For issues where co-workers are bugging you it's time to do an Inquiry Process and get it out of the system. Takes about the same time as a Paraliminal.

Otherwise go for Deep Relaxation. I don't think there is anything wrong with mulling over issues since you do get solutions once you let go. And Deep Relaxation would be the way to go about it.

Of course what you really want is a solution for handling this "highly competitive coworker". New Options Generator, Talk to Win and Personal Relationships would be the Paraliminals I would look at, after an Inquiry Process.

I dont own the AFL course or Deep relaxation. ...I do have a habit of mulling over stuff at the wrong times though...New Options and Talk is a good idea.

I went ahead and used the Breaking the Habit for this issue last night, as when it happens it can keep me from falling back to sleep.

Thanks!

What would be the difference between "break the habit" and "new behavior generator"?

Old neural networks are always persistent. If you have a habit that conflicts with something you want to do... example sleeping in vs exercising. First breaking the habit of sleeping in makes room to add the new habit of exercising.. That is finding the time for it.

I'd still follow it with New Habit Generator for exercising. New Habit Generator would also be more useful for habits like remembering to say hi to everyone in a pleasant tone when you come home. You're not necessarily breaking a habit of coming home and being unpleasant. Just forget to say hi and someone has asked you to do that as in letting them know you're home.

Make sense?

Alex
