Hi, I am still a full time student and naturally, scoring high for exams is something I really want. The personal genius and memory supercharger have caught my eyes and I was wondering, would I need to listen to them regularly forever to attain and retain the good memory results they promise? Is it possible for me to just listen to them once a day, everyday, for a few months or so and then stop using them forever, while still retaining those good memory "learned" from these tracks?

I am a dedicated Holosync user and I don't want to stop listening to Holosync anytime soon. I don't mind taking one hour out each day (soon to be 1.5 hours when I get the gamma compassion track!) for the rest of my life, just for Holosync. But to take out more time for paraliminals, or any other things at all, for the rest of my life as well would be something I would rather avoid. Sorry about that!

Hi Corey:

I also use Holosync, so I understand your time dilemma.

Paraliminals are not meant to be used continually, nor is it advisable to do so with them. Also, most only last around 20 minutes or so (or if you have a "B" part, that is another 20 minutes or so, but it is not used at the same time as the "A" side, so you're still only looking at 20 minutes).

From what I understand, and find optimal in my own use, the CD's are used perhaps up to three days and then you leave off for a while, to allow the sub-conscious to integrate what you've handed it. Then you would do this again, maybe using it every other day.

Unless you are able to change your habits completely with only a few sessions, or if you become lazy in some areas, you would need to refresh occasionally. Since we are habitual characters, the more we instill the habit of doing what we set out to do, the less we need to CD's to help us.

On a side note, regarding the "Gamma" CD, you might want to consider working up to using it on a regular basis, rather than just dive into a commitment to following through right after your regular HS listening on a daily basis. You'd then have time to use the parliminals on "off" days - but don't listen to the parliminals directly after or before HS or "Gamma" - leave a good half hour gap between the two listening sessions.

Cheers!

From these two paragraphs, do you mean I can listen to them for about a week or two, on regular basis, and then after that I only need to listen to them once a month, or once every few months, just to refresh my mind?

Sometimes you only listen to a Paraliminal once and other times for a week. Mostly you use the Paraliminal Library on a as you need basis. That might mean none for a month or more then it might mean one or two listening during a month. Everyone finds their own best way of using them for best results.

Ultimately you get the best results listening with a purpose that's why occasional listening works.

What happens if I repeatedly listen to one or more CD's, once a day, for a long period of time. Would that just be a waste of my time?

It becomes like nagging.... telling your mind you don't trust it to learn from experience. Something it has done exceptionally well without conscious support.

Nag yourself and you'll ignore it.

I forgot to thank you guys, I really appreciated the replies so far.

OK, here's what I'll do, I'll use the Personal Genius and Memory Supercharger for a week, then after that I'll use them once a month for several months and then I'll stop until I feel like I need them again.

But what affirmations should I say before I listen to these track? Do I say: "you will remember all you have studied today" or, "You will remember all you will study for the next month", or something different? Do I say them out loud, or do I say them in my head?

Depends on your purpose for listening. You don't have to listen to them weekly or monthly you listen to them with a purpose in mind. Want to remember the Maths subject that gave you the heebee jeebees? Then listen to the Memory Supercharger Paraliminal with that purpose in mind.

Alex,

Shouldn't you call them Nagaliminals then?

After giving it some more thought, I don't agree with that comment about daily repitition becoming ''nagging''.

Although Paraliminals might not be meant for daily use, my belief is that daily repitition of a certain message over a longer time shows your unconscious that that message is important. It turns it into a priority.

It''s the same process by which you learned tables of multiplication in school, or the words to a popular song on the radio.

I don't know of any evidence to the contrary.
