Are there any parraliminals and special ways to use them that can help get an ADULT with (Attention Deficiet disorder) ADHD get on track with his career.

I have worked with some parraliminals in the past few years mostly perfect health, prosperity, new behaviour generator, new option generator, (self esteem and anxiety free in the last year) and I recently aquired the 'genius mind' program

I found that after more intensive work with parraliminals over weeks it would leave me in a slightly more disturbed state, so i would back off for a while and then start again. Cant say there has been any outstanding progress yet but i still have hope.

Last week I was diagnosed as having severe ADHD by the regional ADHD expert and unfortunately many things about me seem to fit in that box

I have this feeling like others in the last post that if I could only find my passion or passions and stick with no more thqan 3 of them (for just 4 intensive hours a day) it would be very helpful but this I am told is typical of ADHD where we tend to hyperfocus on something that stimulates us to try and calm ourselves and deal with an attention overloaded with noise and distraction from things that dont stimulate us.

Its a bit of a long winded post I am sorry but any thoughts on a way ahead would be appreciated, I am 47 and the option of going on psychostimulants worries me even if the doses are very low. Fortunately the ADHD expert supports me in an approach that involves time to consider the alternatives to drugs and test the most promising alternatives out. I am actually very qualified (doctor of botany) and never short on ideas (some which other people have gladly taken from me and capitlized over the years). but it is finding one or limited to a few ideas that I can focus on for an extended time that I never seem to acheive. I guess it is poverty from my lack of a career that worries me most, as circumstances and opportunities are changing so fast and I have walked down so many blind alleyways and came back empty handed!

thanks,

An hour a day focusing on your one passion makes the difference.

Have you used New History Generator?

You don't need to use any Paraliminal for a week. With ADHD I suggest you try alternating it more.

It does depend on your actual goals which Paraliminal you could use. I can See a spot for Belief, New Options Generator, Peak Performance, Automatic Pilot, Self-Esteem Supercharger, Personal Genius. Letts sidestep the ADHD stuff for a moment and establish a goal. What would you like to be doing in the future. How would you like to be acting, behaving in the future? If you could do one thing now that would move you one notch in that direction what would that thing you need to do be? Then look at the Paraliminals and select the one that is most appropriate for giving you leverage.

Now for ADHD
If you really want a Non Drug approach to performing better with ADHD, hop over to the Spring Forest Qigong forum and find out more about that. That has active meditation which helps to develop concentration and doing it 30 to 60 minutes a day requires a discipline. It's easy and has a number of other benefits.

It isn't a sitting on you butt waiting for a CD to fix me approach to it. and it sounds like you're looking for more than that too.

Thanks Alex
I guess getting settled on a couple of goals is what I am finding difficult.

After reading your reply I listed out 3 pages of goals, that cover things for example from travel, relationships, surfing to gardening and getting massaged (just to name a few). I then narrowed these pages down to 20 generalised goal areas and tried to prioritise these areas. For example, spending more quality time with my elderly parents came out tops on this condensed goal list.

However
I now notice apart from a few goals that can be indirectly linked to generally low paid jobs, (ie tending my own organic garden) there are none that are really clearly career orientated, they are all fun and pleasure orientated. And my main goals of spending more time with my elderly parents means spending more time in a region where unemployment is amongst my countries worst (not to say opportunities are not there, but one must make ones own opportunities in this particular location).

and many other goals conflict too, however what stands out most is higher priority goals involving lots of travel in remote places and cultures and at the same time having a desire for a small farm as a home base, a place to retreat to after travel and recharge etc.

I feel drawn one way then the next. I know if I dont travel I get really bored with the same surrounds etc. This has always happened after one or two years of being settled but then after 6 months of the hyperstimulus of travel in exotic places I burn out physically and financially and then begin thinking it is time to work towards settling down and starting roots and making a little money etc. its like a never ending loop that i so far cant afford to do properly and comfortably but also cant get off, for that intoxication of the new when I hit the road once again is initially pure magic, almost drug like, but the travel is the phase where I burn up the little money I make.

Now when I see myself in the settled phase of the cycle with no farm and no trees of my own and very low paid uninteresting work with rude bosses I feel angry with myself.

I have tried sorting through these conflicts in the past 2 years with parraliminals, 'new option generator' in particular but still remain onthe cycle? Curiously the 'prosperity' tape may have made some impact for I made some good stock and options investment choices since I have been using it (or was it luck?), which has made the travel phase a little more comfortable.

Also thanks Alex for your suggestion on Qi Gong for the ADHD, I am currently working on brain gym exercises to try and get better communication between brain hemispheres but will look into it when I find some more money.

beachwalker,

Have you considered the influence of your own words. Your words become your truth. And as long as you hold on to them no other opportunity can avail itself.

Why would you choose to visualise that and create it as part of your reality?

If you move closer to your parents... are they going to have to take over the role model to help you keep your paradigm?

Consider using the Prosperity Paraliminal to have a great boss, great future where ever you are. Because no matter where you go you take yourself with you. Use the New History Generator to help you past some of the limitations. Have interesting work... make it a decision to be interested in work. Even a garbage collector can become interested enough in his work to be able to write an informative book that offers hints and help to the community.

I cannot tell you what you should want for yourself but I can suggest you turn that statement around and say. What if I could have an interesting job... what would make it interesting, What would I be doing that it's interesting for me? Where could I be working?

If I had a terrific boss... how would I be talking, working with them?

If I could buy a farm where would I buy one. How much would I need. How long would it take me to save it.

None of these things require follow through, just thinking more in the direction you want to go and what you want to experience and not staying stuck with the status quo.

Thanks again Alex,
just back from a travel phase hence the break

Those words did come up very negative and i appreciate you pointing it out, though I was trying to describe my circumstances as they are, not what I make a effort to visualise (consciously) them to be

but perhaps I am programming these circumstances in other ways, i guess I must be to be living them

so much of my life seems like I am living a trance at times

We cannot really explain things as they are. We can only explain things from our perception. And to explain from our perception we have visualise and it keeps us focus on the bad stuff we often miss the good stuff that is already there.

We all live our trances
