Hello All,

I just bought a couple of cd's-sales leap, ideal weight, new behavior, get it done. these seem to be the best for the areas i need the most improvement. looking forward to trying them out and posting in the near future.

I have been thinking of making my own cd to help create a positive change in all areas. what i mean is make a cd with all beliefs, values, positive self images, affirmations, goals, ect. I want to be able to visualize my goals and strengthen my values all at the same time. I think it would be helpful to do it in a session so I don't have to consiously think about these things. I find that when i think about all the positive changes I want to do with my life and all my goals that it can be very overwhelming. The more I think about what i want to do the less i get done. Sometimes I feel l am trying to accomplish too much. What i was thinking was to create my own life scripts on cd walking me through my visualizations and goals and take time out during the day and completing a session. Then release it and try to go on with the rest of my day not worrying about what i am doing and how i am doing it.

Has anyone done anything like this?
Any thoughts or feelings on this?
any recommendations or suggestions on how to do this?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Hello, and welcome!

I think one of the very unique things about the way Paul has created the Paraliminals is the multi-faceted usage aspect. There are so many different ways and combinations we can use these CD's - a good read through the "Going Beyond" section in the booklets will begin to spark many ideas. So while one might think it would be more useful to create a personalized CD, in many cases it could be "re-inventing the wheel".

That said, if you are going to create your own CD, one recommendation is to have someone who knows Hypnosis, NLP and Timeline Therapy well to work with you on this. Unless you have been certified in these areas yourself, you could possibly do more damage than good by how you provide the suggestions to your subconscious mind. As well, don't try to overload a particular session with several different areas (sort of a "mind-blast" approach), as you may actually sabotage any benefits you would otherwise get from using a home-grown CD. So writing them out first, and then grouping the suggestions around one topic together would be helpful.

You may just find that actually sitting down and writing out your goals in different areas of your life would give you a major boost in visualizing them better. Add in detail, colour, texture, etc. The more vivid you make them, the better. THEN, when you are ready to create your CD, you will have fleshed out the picture well enough that you can just relax with the CD, and let the suggestions sink in deeper that way.

Good Luck! I know from my own experience of making CD's for myself and others that it can be time consuming and challenging. The more good effort you put into it, though, will bring the greater rewards, I'm sure.

Cheers!
Unis
