Hi beauties,

I have a goofy question, but it plagues me every single time I pracitce SFQG, which is every day, sometimes twice.

Master Lin says wait 30 minutes for drinking, eating, etc, after practicing. Got it, no problem. But he also mentions not to go to the bathroom either!! He says you can actually lose the qi you accumulated by releasing urine or taking a hot bath and risk illness.

My bladder gets extremely full during the meditations. I often do small universe and self concentration right after each other. By the time I'm done (about 50 minutes) my bladder is ready to explode.

I have alternated between waiting the 30 min in increasing discomfort vs: just releasing while chanting, "I am retaining all my energy" to try to keep it from leaking out!

I know good/better/best, but I just don't know which to stick with!! Especially if not waiting can make you sick!

Any suggestions? Sorry for the sensitivity of the subject, but I'm at a loss. I tend to have a small bladder generally, but for sure I've noticed doing the meditation increases my bladder activity!!

Blessings,
Cawwie

If you have to go the bathroom after a meditation, Master Lin recommends focusing on your heart and holding your hands in the protection hand position that he teaches in Level II. This will retain the energy. Hope that helps!

Hi Cawwie,

Me too,

I am diabetic and have to visit the loo more often than most.
I have found that if I go before commencing SFQ and make one of my intentions to complete it in comfort - that works for me.

You may also need to take some action to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles by doing some appropriate exercise. There are a lot of web sites with suitable exercises for males and females.

Love and light,
Faune
