Hello Everyone,
I just finished listening to my new Deep Relaxation Paraliminal for the very first time. To put it mildly, this tape is absolutely amazing! I discovered that I never really knew what real relaxation was until now! I have a couple of other Paraliminals and they are great too, but this one was a real surprise.
My question is this. Is there any recommended amount of listenings per week that I should stick to? My other tapes have specific instructions about how often to listen, but this one doesn't. Would listening every single day be too much or counterproductive?
I am also wondering if it would be OK for my fiancee to listen to this tape, as she has ADHD? Not sure if there would be a conflict, as she is on Ritalin for her hyperactivity. (Would someone from LSC be able to guide me on this last question? I am reluctant to ask her to inquire of her doctor, as we would have to try to explain Paraliminals, and I am not sure how to do that.)

You may be able to use the term hypnosis, or autogenic training. While "Paraliminal" is a trademarked term, "Dual Induction Hypnosis" is the generic term, I believe.

Deep Relaxation is nice, is it not? I'm really not sure how it works, but the extended countdown has a profound physical sense. I feel myself "flattening" as all my muscles lose their tone.

You could easily use the Deep Relaxation paraliminal once a day if you desire.

Thanks AlexK and Kaiden for your helpful responses. I'm going to listen to Deep Relaxation quite often, every day if I feel like it. I am also going to go ahead and have my fiancee listen to it as well to help curb hyperactivity.
Happy New Year everyone!

Thank you!

"Deep Relaxation" is the only trance tape I have that effects me physically, during the session, in a way I can perceive. I actually thought of myself as "not very prone to hypnosis" before I got that tape.

I've been waking up with killer headaches ever since mid November. I thought it was just humidity, but that doesn't seem to be the defining factor. I've also been snoring a lot worse as of late. I think I have sleep apnea.

The Deep Relaxation tape gives me the ability to wake up without a headache.

I like paraliminals because I don't see them as being nessesarily hypnotic. For example, consider the tape "accelerated high speed learning." Quote from the tape, "You tripple your learning speed, and then tripple it again." Now, consider Personal Genius, "When you read, you read with full attention and relaxed alertness." The former is either accepted by the other than conscious mind and acted upon, or else the conscious mind says "huh? how? What does this mean, exactly?" With the later, the concious mind says "hmmm, I think I can do that. I have relaxed alertness now; it shouldn't be too hard to read like this."

Kaiden--
Have you gone to a doctor for the headaches?
Even though the tapes help alleviate the headaches, I'd still seek medical attention for the headaches.

No health insurance. In the short term, I'm using a combination of hypnosis, supliments and medication. In the long term, I'm adjusting my body closer to its ideal weight in order to reduce stress on my chest and neck.

On the plus side, Deep Relaxation is having a positive effect on reducing my snoring.
