Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum although I've been lurking and using Natural Brilliance and Photoreading for several months now.

I grew up with a bipolar parent and my friend recently referred me to a book called Codependent No More by Melody Beattie. A brief description of codependency can be found here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codependency

I have been struggling to focus and place priorty on my own goals but I've been obsessed with controlling others and I kinda feel difficult being around people for too long without being bothered by their behaviour. It's possible my behaviour may have the equal effect of repelling people and depriving me of opportunities.

I've decided to invest in the Sonic Access program because I've found the review on this forum to be impressive. I'd appreciate some other suggestions though for paraliminals or LSC courses which could help me address my codependency issues.

Thanks.

Hello:

For the paraliminals side of things, since codependency is a learned behaviour, New Behaviour Generator would be a prime first candidate New History Generator and Personal Relationships added to it would round out the un-learning process.

Just follow the directions on the CD inserts - lots of ideas there of how these can be used. Personally, I'd suggest using only two per day, but you can rotate usage between them - use for several days up to a week, and then allow time for the subconscious to catch up. Reinforce if you see any slippage back into old patterns.

Cheers!

I just recieved my self esteem supercharger and I found it very powerful! I would recommend that one to you. They say it is the one to start with, I think. Anyhow, good luck with your sonic access. I am going to order that one next when I have the money.

In the meantime I am thrilled with the way I feel using the self esteem supercharger. I feel great and I wasn't feeling too great beforehand!

good luck!

I am going to suggest that you take a serious look at The Abundance for Life Course. The reasoning is that even though the other paraliminals are excellent and usefull. The Abundance for life gives you tools Like the Feeling Exercise and The inquiry process and a road map that you can use for your personal growth and the tools are so powerful that the benifits are permanent. And you take a proactive approach to your recovery. By doing the work outlined in the manual you are taking responsibility for your life, your thoughts, beliefs and feelings.

Thanks all of you for your suggestions. I will definitely consider all of them.

Abundance for Life is definitely a course I'd like to experence and benefit from but is just out of my budget for another several months.

There's a sense of me that also feels cheated, not understanding my behaviour or the choices I made, and I'm hoping that these suggested Paralimals would help the healing process.

Unis (or anyone else), would the New Behaviour Generator also help ease my obsessive thoughts concerning the actions of another person or would maybe Break the Habit be also useful?

Hi again.....

I'm thinking if you just get started with the New Behaviour Generator and others as suggested above, particiularly Personal Relathionships, you'll find that the obsession factor diminishes quite quickly - the paraliminals do cover a lot of ground, and once one part of the problem is in repair, the rest of it also seems to sort itself out.

Just get started.... taking the first step is the biggest step toward repairing the situation.

Cheers!

I think the sonic access program will be perfect for you as it offers so many different opportunities for shift and change and it's really powerful stuff. It makes you feel good too! You could use any one of the CD's at different times depending on what you particularly want to work on at the time.

I reckon if you've already invested in this program you should work with it for a little while before adding anything - like I said it's powerful stuff.
Cheers

If budget is a problem and you're limited to Paraliminals I'd make sure I have Break the Habit. It applies to any habit you consider self defeating so would work for you.

Relationship is one you'll probably need too since you will continue to have some sort of relationship with your parents and New History Generator is good to have anyway. It has so many uses.
