Hi All,

I have finished the PhotoReading home study course. I want to play with Direct Learning. I intend to PhotoRead (PR) fifteen books on the topic of relationship communication. I have chosen the books. I previewed them to be sure they were "how to" style books. Of the 15, most of the books are specific to the topic and I have added a few general books on communication and a few on relationships. I have chosen a general purpose for all the books and I have a more specific purpose for each book. I plan to PR 5 books each day for 3 days. When do I do the visualization exercise to activate the Direct Learning? Do I wait until after I have PhotoRead all 15 books or should I go through the process after each set of 5 books? Do I wait a day for the books to incubate before the visualization? What seems to work best? Anything else to keep in mind?

Do the visualisation after each pile of 5 books. As soon as you closed the last book for that sitting.

Thanks! Great! The concepts I have learned from the PR Personal Learning Course are really changing my life. I am excited to see what direct learning can do! This will be fun. I may try direct learning with some physical skill next.

Just stopping to think "What is my purpose?" before I do almost anything in life. How powerful is that? It is immeasurable! That is only the first step....

Has anyone had much success with direct learning? I'm starting to use the technique myself now, and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

Can anyone who's made it work post any insight they discovered about it that wasn't covered in either the photoreading or the natural brilliance books?

I think it's still too early to tell whether or not I'm practicing it properly. It's only been a couple of days for me now.
