Does anyone know why Paul focuses on "without your thumbs touching each other" in so many of the paraliminals?

I think its because it will feel like your thumbs have fallen off or something. But in addition to this question, I need to know why I become uncomfortable while listening to these, although I never used to before. I find myself almost in pain trying to ignore my uncomfortableness. LOL.

QuicklLearner:

Could you elaborate what you mean by "uncomfortable"? Is it a physical thing, emotional discomfort or mental chatter, etc.?

Sometimes resistance to change (even when we sincerely want it) can evoke any or all of the above. So we can get clues to why that's happening by how it's happening sometimes.

Let us help you here. The fact that you are uncomfortable could be a very good thing, showing that these paraliminals are working for you - just needing to get a few things sorted out first, so the greater changework can be accomplished.

And for Hat:

The idea of "thumbs not touching" is in regard to the NLP used in the sessions. Our thumbs act like circuit breakers in our energy fields, and if they are touching the full circuit of the energy created in the sessions is broken or inhibited.

Cheers!

I mean ill just be laying down on my bed and listening to it, and ill get uncomfortable towards the end of the cd. I find myself turning over and fidgeting and stuff, and just getting really uncomfortable to where I have to move. This never used to happen before.

Thanks! That makes sense. It just seemed a curious thing.

QuickLearner. Don't fight it and don't be concerned about it. If it's happening near the end it's like athletes receiving a pep talk from their coach. You become ready to spring to action and you know the coach is about finished talking because it's almost time for the game.

It's neither good or bad. Only thinking makes it so.
