I've noticed that some of the paraliminals identify the right and left side placement for headphones and some do not. Should I always listen to all paraliminals with the same side headphone on the right and left? Is it ok to switch sides if the program does not specifically identify the right and left side? Is there any benefit or detriment to switching the left and right headphones once in a while? Thank you in advance.

Hi markt,

There is a specific reason why paraliminials follow that pattern of right & left side placement ....The human brain is divided into two parts left & the right .Both the left & right hemisphere of the brain are directed to maintain a balanced state .This further activates them to perform activities( like memorizing,retaining,decision making etc) throughout the day ....!!
In my opinion following the pattern reaps more benefits .The paraliminials rectifies the focus areas which have temporarily taken a back seat & brings it to a the balanced mode again.Its like wearing your shoe in the correct foot will make your walk easy & balanced else u will tumble due to the imbalance caused.

Just substantiating to what Timtim has said above. As you already know that human brain is divided into left and right hemisphere and each hemisphere has difference characterisitcs as given below. The left hemisphere style is more rational whereas right hemisphere style is intuitive

Left Hemisphere
* Responds to verbal instructions
* Problem solves by logically and sequentially looking at the parts of things
* Looks at differences
* Is planned and structured
* Prefers established, certain information
* Prefers talking and writing
* Prefers multiple choice tests
* Controls feelings

Right Hemisphere
* Responds to demonstrated instructions
* Solves problmes with hunches, looking for patterns and configurations
* Looks at similarities
* Is fluid and spontaneous
* Prefers elusive, uncertain information
* Prefers drawing and manipulating objects
* Prefers open ended questions
* Free with feelings

As a result what you hear in your right ear is directed towards your right brain and what you hear in your left ear is directed towards your left brain respectively. Therefore IMHO you wouldn't receive positive results if you interchange the left and right headphones.

Maybe Alex, Pete or Paul would like to give a better answer to this.

The brain sorts it out. Information that is analytical is sorted by the left brain and the information that is creative, visual or metaphorical is processed by the right brain. While the Paraliminals are designed to make it easier for the left and right hemispheres to process the information. It is not strictly necessary. If you are deaf in one year you'd unable to function if the brain didn't sort it.

Notice your ear preference when you are on the telephone.. If it mattered one 100% you wouldn't hold the phone on the left ear when listening to logical analytical conversations. Some people do hold the phone to the right ear and swap when they have to write something down.

The Left and right ear listening is a recommendation. If you're not getting anything from the Paraliminal swap them around. Haven't you tilted your head make sense of a picture?

Occasionally you might want to turn the headphones around just for the hey of it.
