Hello,

I just started going through this course and have listened to Essentials and LV1/CD1 so far. I had read some of Karen Kingston's Feng Shui books about 10 years ago but never really got into it then. So now I'm ready to dive in as much as possible. But I have some confusion about what I've learned so far.

Right now as a mother I work full time and make twice as much as my husband does. We need both of our incomes to pay the bills and keep our current lifestyle. I want to be a full time stay at home mom for my daughter but need to replace my income to do this. I have written my success activation card to say:

I, Kristine, am a full time stay at home mom with abundant wealth that exceeds my financial needs and wants and allows me time freedom, financial security and a debt free life.

• I am a full time stay at home mom for Olivia on or before March 1st 2008 and I thoroughly enjoy my time playing, learning, and growing with Olivia.
• I receive an ongoing passive income of $130,000 net or more per year on or before March 1st 2008 with $10,834 net or more deposited into my bank account on a consistent monthly basis from any and all sources that are ethical and that create win/win situations for all involved and in the best possible way for all involved.
• I have paid down my mortgages so that I owe 60% LTV or less on my home on or before March 1st 2008 and have stayed out of further debt all while improving my lifestyle.

I have gone through the 7 step creative process from the abundance for life course and wrote my goals then and just adapted them for the activation card.

My personal number is #8, my husband's is #6 and my 2 year old daughter's is #2. So we all have the same personal energy directions, they just stand for different things. We all sleep together in our King bed in our master bedroom. The front of our house faces South and our bedroom is upstairs in the SouthEast corner of the house. You enter the room from the NorthWest corner and we have had the headboard of the bed against the East wall, so we can see the door but we are out of the flow of traffic. But since East is a bad personal direction for all of us, we were thinking about moving the bed to the West wall ( which is my husbands personal success direction) but that would be the same wall as the door so we wouldn't be able to see the door from the bed.

I know in the instructions it says use your personal directions as the 1st priority and to sleep toward one of your personal best directions, then the 2nd and 3rd priorities are the flow from the door and to be able to see the door so I'm thinking it would be wise to move the bed there.

But if I do that should I then place a small mirror across from the door so I can see the door through the mirror from the bed like it suggests later in the manual? But I thought you didn't want mirrors in the bedroom. But why don't you want mirrors in the bedroom? And should I cover the mirror with anything ever? And if I should cover the mirror, when should it be covered? When we are sleep or when we're awake or all the time? And if it's all the time, why would I need a mirror at all then?

I'm the main bread winner now but my husband's income is also important and needed. He is working full time and going to school to get an Electrical Engineering Degree so he can get a job that pays more but that will take about 4 years to complete his degree and then the job search will start. I want to be a stay at home Mom before that point. So I'm thinking putting him in his success direction would be good. I'm also starting an internet affiliate marketing business that could create passive income for us to help me get home with my daughter but I can't put the bed in my success direction cause the room just doesn't work that way. The internet business will be purely my thing as my husband doesn't have any interest in that. I'll definitely activate the North and South general directions for success like she talks about too.

So the bed placement is my main question along with the mirror questions. Also, any other tips or suggestions would be awesome too if anyone has similar situations or insight that they've made changes for and gotten results.

Thanks so much!
Kristine

Aloha Kristine,

It is helpful to have all "west" people in a house.

Placing the mirror across from the door so you can see the door is different than having a mirror in the room reflecting all of you in the bed while you sleep. Since it's not reflecting you while you're sleeping you wont need to cover it, as you would in a hotel room where they generally have a TV or mirror right in front of the bed.

The Seven Step Process in the Abundance for Life course is a good supplemental piece for manifesting your four direction goals.

At some point, you may consider calling a coach here at Learning Strategies to get a hexagram done to shift your front door if possible.

Much Love, Shawn

Hi Shawn,

Thanks for that information. So I'm assuming I should move the bed then so it's facing West instead of East right? And then put a small mirror reflecting the door.

And also, why do you not want a mirror reflecting your bed while you sleep again?

Thanks,
Kristine

Aloha EmpireCreators,

Yes.

A mirror theat reflects your image when you are in a bed tends to de-focus the mind and create negative dreams. It can also double your health issues, create loneliness or a third person in a mariage, and create stress.

Much love, Shawn
