I understand that there are several methods to learn or enhance photoreading skills. I am currently reading the photoreading book (3rd edition). I’d like to get as much out of the book as possible and understand the concepts and techniques before moving on. My hope is to have some success with the book before buying the photoreading deluxe self-study course.

If I have success with the self-study course, I’d have no problem spending the money on the seminar or even the great amount of money for the cost of the retreat. I feel it would be well worth it if I got the tremendous results that many others have before me.

My question is about the success others have had with the book alone. Has anyone successfully learned or mastered photoreading by just reading the book? Was it enough for anyone to not need to go further? If you’ve learned photoreading from the book, is there more to be gained from the self-study course, seminar or retreat?

Let me know.

Based on the several questions that some other members ask i would like to know if really, really works?

Alex, the moderator, learned
PhotoReading from a book and
went on from there.

I find using the basic course
worked best for me. Although
I was able to work the material
from the book and the forum, it all fell
into place after I used the basic
course.

There won't be another PhotoReading Retreat for two or maybe three years. It was three years since the last one.

I'd consider my learning style. Some people make much faster progress going straight to a seminar, others with the course and others can do with just the book.

Does it work. The people at the PhotoReading retreat had some great experiences again. Breakthroughs come at different times for everyone and everyone gets it at their own pace.

Yes it works for those who suspend their sscepticism long enough to just try it without expecting anything to happen. That's how I learned. I didn't expect to achieve anything more than finding a way to put little Einstein's into every book I came across. It proved to go well beyond that.
