Hi, I was wondering about superreading.
Should I be able to see the whole width of the page while moving down the center of the page through my peripheral vision? because I don't think my peripheral vision quite reaches there.
Also, I was wondering about the tangerine technique. I know it's purpose is more about trying to get a focused point of attention, but I was wondering about its secondary side effect. Many people say their peripheral vision widens through this technqie, but I have noticed quite about nothing in the change of my peripheral vision tho I have been using the technique for about a month now. I was wondering if what I am experience (or the lack of) is normal and should continue using the tangerine technique as I am right now.
If any of you guys find the time to read and answer my questions, I will greatly appreciate it for I know time is a precious thing. lol.

No you'll see a central column about 3 to 5 words in width. Your non-conscious mind knows what's on the page and is looking for the cues. Your eyes will flick to the edges if that's where you need to dip.

Tangerine technique is for mental focus, concentration and being in the here and now for reading. It pulls closer to the "zone" helping to close out mental, visual and auditory distractions, The technique helps you to focus on more words at a time. With traditional reading we only see one word at a time.
