Hi All,

I am having trouble figuring out how to correctly use the belief paraliminal.

The instructions say that the belief I choose to work with should

A. Be one that I know of consciously... Does that mean it should be aconsciulsy held belief? Most of the beliefs that limit my success are uncouscioulsy held beliefs that I don't believe at teh conscious level and I am only aware of them via teh effects they have. One example is I diefinatley recieved messages that if I didn't go to college I would not be successfull but I never consciously bought that belief. Another example is that I have discovered a sereis of "I don't deserve...(success, to be supported, love etc)" beliefs. However again I don't believe it consciously. I realize that it onel say"know of conscioulsy but how could I choose to work with it otherwise so it seems to imply that it must be one I hold consciously. Such as I do have a conscious belief that I am not good at physical art (drawing, painting, etc) and I can see how it limits me but that is not the area of my life I am most concerend with presently.

B. know how it served me in the past... I can't realy see how feeling that I don't deserve things has ever served me

any insight suggegestions and guidance would be very appreciated.

Thanx,
Bodhi

You're supposed to start with a belief you have that you know is false. So, on Session A, start with something like, "I will never be successful if I don't go to college."

Then, create a belief that you know is true that will replace the old belief. So, on Session B, say something like, "Going to college does not determine success in life."

I hope that helps.

Think of something you want thank your mind puts a negative feeling on.Ex.I am never going to be able to____________________. Write it down on paper it could be as many things as you want. Pick the three most important things you want to change in your life. then out of those three pick one issue write it down concentrate on it. then listen to Side A first a couple of days then side B . The biggest mistake I made was doing too many things at once now I am focusing on one belief. Do not get dissappointed if the next day the belief is not gone it is like planting a seed you have to let it root good but I am not saying whatever you want to work on will take a long time your negative belief could be gone in the first session. I take that back my biggest mistake was letting other negative people know what I was doing so keep it to yourself , this board or coaches. The coaches here are wonderful about helping to.If you want to write me back feel free I will tell you the mistakes I made so you will not make the same ones.

If you can think of it is a consciously held belief.

Thinking I don't deserve, often has a side benefit of making it unnecessary to take corrective action. Like I don't deserve love saves one from losing weight and becoming more attractive. Or saves one from the discomfort of socialising, or protects you from prospect of being hurt for fear of finding out you really did not deserve this persons love.
