When yopu state what limiting belief you have have to address today and the rest of those questions at the start, do you state them out loud to yourself or simply think about them? I always feel that there is never enough time for me to say the sentance or think it in responce to his questions before he moves onto the next one. Its really frusterating to me. I feel rushed i guess you could say.

Also, i have used the belief tape 3 times so far, and i never feel like i'm going deep enough on either side. I feel like i'm pretty much wide awake and concious the whole time the tape is going. Is that normal or proper?

Also, my mind tends to usually stay in the middle of the two voices and occasionally goes from one to another as they seem to come in louder each time they come in. Now, i wanted to know what is normal for that and what is the significange of even having your focus be on either or both, or for that matter, none at all?

I also seem to have great trouble visualizing anything that the right ear piece is trying to get me to imagine; ie: time line, floatin above it, finding a place when this first became apparent. Most of the time i don't even know when it first took place except that i have that belief. I was never too good at guided imagery and with that being said, i wanted to know if i still get the same, if any, benifit from the Belief tape if i can't visualize much of anything that right or left is saying to any degree?

Lastly, when trying to formulate a new belief along the lines of" i am this or that"(i am a talented writer, i have great potential, i am very creative), how do you state the belief that is limiting that? Its almost as if its something i simply desire to believe but don't really have a beleif other then doubt that is stopping me from believe that, or in myself. What can i do?

Thankx so much every 1 for your past posts and i hope to get a detailed responce from more then one opinion for this one.

Read the cover and think about the questions before you put the tape on. Once he asks the question during the tape you just need to remember the gist of it.

That's fine, just go with the flow and trust that it works just as well. You're conscious mind doesn't really 'get it' its the other than conscious mind that takes over while listening to the paralimal. It isn't a hypnosis tape. You will remain as conscious as you want to.

Again that's fine. Your other than conscious mind will direct your conscious mind to pay particular attention to one voice or the other as necessary. The volume is also adjusted so that you can actively participate at the right time. It's actually best to listen down the middle. Its's fine to listen to either voice too, it's the flexibility to keep variety in using the tape time and time again.

If you have trouble visualising just allow yourself to get a general gist of it or a feel for it. If you are able to follow along in general and 'understand' what Paul is expressing for you to visualise then you have 'visualised' enough for the process to work.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what limiting beliefs are so usually whatever you want to adopt as a belief has an "I cannot..." or "I am not..." attached to it. So look what you tell yourself that goes against the belief that you want to adopt. At some level you are probably telling yourself I'm a bad writer or I cannot write. Or my teachers told me my writing is bad. For creative it might be I'm boring, I can't create or I'm hopeless at creative stuff. If you have doubts about having the skill you are some way telling yourself that you cannot or don't have the skills. So for the limiting belief you don't need to know the exact words just acknowledge that somehow you've been believing that the reverse of the desired belief has been a part of your life.

2. The depth of trance does not always corelate to the effectiveness of the changework. When listening to any given tape, sometimes I'm totally out and other times I'm more aware of what the tape is saying.

3. It probably doesn't matter. You can try to focus on one side or the other on each listening session to see if it makes a difference.

4. What is important is how YOU represent your timeline. Everyone will be at least slightly different. If you need help visualizing, what is it like when you daydream, remember something in your past, or plan for the future? That's all visualization really is. Imagestreaming can improve your skills at this.

5. The limiting beliefs many people have are often from early childhood, or at least from their school days. It is normal to not know exactly when an early event which caused a belief happened. Go to the earliest event of that type you can remember. You will stil benefit from that. Those instructions are also to your unconscious which does know.

6. The limiting belief can be many things. Using your writing example, it may be simply the opposite of the belief you want, such as "I can't write." It can also be more subtle beliefs, such as "I need to major in English to write.", "I won't be able to get published.", "People might not like by book.", "This will be a lot of work.", "I'll need lots of money to do this." or "I don't have the time."
