Would anyone agree that some PLs have to be listened to for a couple of months or so to achieve the full desired result?
For example, I have been feeling very low and unhappy for the past couple of years. To turn this around, would listening to Happy For No Reason for a few months, or until I see and FEEL a difference from deep within, be the best way to approach this?
What other PLs can I use in conjunction with Happy For No Reason? Or could I listen to Happy 2 or 3 times a day?
Any days that I feel high or good that an opportunity has come to me from nowhere, the negativity that surrounds me brings me right down, and I find it hard to climb up again.
Listening to a PL for a week I have found not to be enough. Can I listen to Happy indefinitely until a great feeling is achieved?
Big question I know. But it needs addressing...
Thanks to those who could spend the time to provide me with a great honest answer.

My last 2 years were very tough, so maybe I can be of some assistance. Due to spending many hours on the computer today, I need to regroup and will give this my full attention tomorrow, the 12th. I will do whatever I can to help you out of this situation, I promise. Please know that you are cared for, as I know sometimes it feels like no one does. Life does get a whole lot better I promise, just hang in there.

You know, some of them seem to work right away--as soon as I take off the headphones, it's as I hoped. Others--yes, some things seem to take more time. Then again, it took a lot of time to create the circumstances I was trying to improve, so I try not to be too impatient. (But, "yesterday" would be nice, )

I think "Happy" might help, plus you might want to consider "Self Esteem Supercharger," "I Deserve It," "Perfect Health" and/or "Prosperity."

This comment was why "I Deserve It" came to mind--and you do, you know. Everyone (in my opinion) deserves happiness.

Alex might have a better answer, but I would say it's fine to listen to it for a longer time. But there might be other things you need to work on, too.

When it comes to personal happiness, I do find that as life does it's thing, there are ups and downs, and during the "downs" I head for "Happiness" or my personal favorite, "Euphoria" for a little boost. (Note--this one is one CD from an entire set--"Euphoria!"--not sold separately as far as I know--but if you feel adventurous, there might be others in the set which would also be helpful.) I don't know if there is any permanent fix for this--it's just a difference in mood that occurs with life's changes. But my "downs" are sure shorter when I use these paras!

Thebigpicture22,
I love the screen name, maybe you will agree that the big picture is the only picture. : -) Let me start by saying Thank You for the Thank You, that made contact at a deep level. I see you sent the response in the wee hours of the morning, I sure do know how that is. Maybe you get up early for work, if not , we may have some similarities in our history. Feeling paralyzed to take hold of life with the added pleasure of insomnia was one of my specialties. I am more than happy to talk about those subjects that make others squirm, since I have had many of them happen to me, and enjoy dealing with them. (Sharing has been a wonderful healing tool for me) Now I see those weaknesses as strengths, you know the old adage, what doesn’t brake you makes you stronger. You just never know who you may come across in this world, and I just love talking with people about life.
So in looking at the previous response Jeanne gave some good suggestions that may help, and I will do my best to share some helpful experiences to turn on the lights in a room that sometimes feels pitch black. Really, we’ll just remove the invisible blindfold, yes it is definitely there but, is invisible to us sometimes.
In actually responding to your original question, any time you listen to a paraliminal, especially a deep programmer void of material reasons as its basis, you are receiving benefit, albeit seemingly more on a subconscious level. What did all that babbling mean, who knows, sounded almost smart though didn’t it. Really though, in “Happy For No Reason” we are not focusing on a specific material goal, and so the short term results have the potential to vary much more depending on your current state of being. If you just had a rough day, but life has been relatively easy going or is that way now, noticing immediate results on average will be easier. This is exactly my experience with this paraliminal. However, if you are going through a rough period such as a divorce, death in the family, or letting go of old painful wounds, then the results will on a probability level be less instantaneous. However the constant use is phenomenal for helping with long term true happiness.
So, if the situation is mildly severe to very severe, then the “Happy For No Reason” Para is a great daily subconscious programmer to use while incorporating another Para for focusing on a more seemingly tangible result. How about a couple from the new batch like “Talking To Win,” as this one is great if you want to improve your communication skills and you can gear the session for a specific person or event that you are excited about or want to be excited about. And, “Peak Performance,” to help focus on going for a promotion at work or a hobby you might be too nervous or depressed to try, like. . .roller blading, or drawing (I like Mandala drawing, very peaceful)
Sometimes, and in my past all of the times, when we’re depressed the mind is waaaay too overactive with negative self talk and doubts. And the best way I have found to eliminate that is to relax. Even though usually depression means no energy, this is generally due to the brain tiring us out with negatives, and having the feeling of no end to the tunnel in sight. So, here’s a run down to maybe try if you are up for it.
First off, Mother Nature is a wonderful healer, you might try getting some fresh air. Maybe go for a walk, rollerblade, jog, go for a drive with the windows open(relative to the temperature), and so on. I personally recommend a nice walk in the fresh air to get the blood flowing, oxygenate your body, and let the problems go. Body movement is a great way to activate the other areas of your being. If you have access to a lake, river, pond, or stream, that is great as being close to bodies of water is wonderful for recharging the batteries. And nature in general, more specifically a heavy tree area to walk among nature’s protectors and maybe look at the beautiful changing leave colors, is wonderful, as you can probably picture right now. Not sure where you live, but the trees are awesome for me any time of year. Any amount of time we can take the attention of negativity or depression off of ourselves and get out into nature is time well spent. Also, maybe consider volunteering your time for a good cause or even be active in a charity, these are great for focusing on helping others and removes the illusion created by the invisible blindfold of not deserving a wonderful life. In my experience this is the best way to realize your true calling in life and leave all depression by the wayside, never to be picked up again.
On a paraliminal level, I would start with “Personal Genius,” this was best for me in realizing that I am needed here on our beautiful planet. This is coming from my experience, and that is how strongly I feel about this Paraliminal. It helped me realize that I am a genius, and even if you never felt like one, with a task to focus on, you will. Even listening to this without a goal is awesome, but when bummed out, if you have an activity to focus on it may help even more(did wonders for me, can‘t you tell, I just don‘t shut up do I, ha-ha). No need to focus on anything serious, try a favorite hobby, as this Para is also good for opening up your creative mind. Also, if you are having trouble quieting the mind, “Deep Relaxation” is extremely helpful. In fact any relaxation of the mind will free up lots of energy you may have thought was lost.
Of course when you get your motivation back, I recommend SF Qigong. If you live in MN, I will help you with it, as I can guarantee it works for everybody who is able to perform the exercises. If you really want the benefits, and put the time and focus in, that will be the straw that breaks the depressive camel’s back. I will back this up with personal practice sessions with anyone who wants, especially you doubters out there. We can practice together for free!
You really helped me take a look at my life while writing this, and if it means anything to you, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to share this with you. I am crying right now, and these are finally some really well earned tears of joy. I meant what I said about helping in anyway I can. We are all together in this life. Yes, we are all on separate journeys, but we have each other to learn from and lean on when the time arises. Our spiritual goal is one of peace for everyone. . .
Bless you as well Thebigpicture22, and best wishes!

Jeanne and Chrysanthemon - what can I say. I spent the majority of Sunday thinking of a heartfelt response to you both. The opinions and suggestions given were breathtaking and by far exceeded anything I expected, even though I expected the best!
The fact that there are still people out there that care about others, even when they don't know them, is a blessing. Thank God you are around. You are an amazing and inspiring set of people, and you are sincerely doing more than your share in helping mankind.
I have read your comments over and over again and have started doing your suggestions. Qigong is something I wanted to try in the summer just gone, but it wasn't to be - yet. I live in the UK not MN, but thanks for your offer to help me Chrysanthemon. The UK market doesn't seem to be ready for this and I admit I am having difficulties in sourcing avenues to practise it.
I am very happy that I was able to assist you, Chysanthemon, to look at your life. I am sure you saw, analysed and reflected on many of your successes.
Take care Jeanne and Chrysanthemon, and once again, many thanks.
Your friend,
Hani
