I would try the ideal weight paraliminal. In the inside cover is says it "works equally well for weight loss and weight gain, because it focuses on your relationship with your body and your relationship with food" and
promotes positive eating choices.

Positive Relationships (relationship with self) and Self Esteem Generator.

Long ago, as a young man, I was very thin. The only thing wrong with being thin was the way I saw myself. In fact, I was healthy and energetic but could not see that when I compared myself to the models and actors in the media.

Now, if you realy do want to gain weight, in a healthy way, you need to work a good program. Excersize plus nutrition plus rest equals muscle. You could gain *up to* 10 pounds of lean muscle in 12 weeks.

Short duration with heavy weights will build chunky mass, like a bodybuilder. Martial arts, dance, swimming, builds long flexible muscle. Hire a qualified trainer- one with the kind of fitness you desire.

Read reputable books on nutrition.
You need high quality protein 1 hour after excersize. Whey protien in milk is a good way to go. You need enouph rest, too. Dont over-train. Carbohydrates like veggies fruits and grains should match or exceed your energy output. Do not use hormones- short term gains are shadowed by long term health problems, guaranteed. Dont let anyone tell you different. No designer hormones or special stacks or cycle schemes will prevent health problems. Read Dr Michael Colgans Optimum Sports Nutrition for great advice on doing it naturaly and safely. (He has been an olympic team nutritionist, and consistently produces world class results)

Learn as much as you can about nutrition, and take everything in the healthfood stores and muscle magazines with a grain of salt...believe me, I worked in the business a long time, and much of the goop they sell is marketing hype and pseudo science. There is good stuff too, but educate yourself- before they try to "educate" you.

Boy- didnt know I had this much to say about this. Sorry for being so long winded.
