When making the black sesame seed tea, should you pour off the water after soaking and use fresh water to boil the seeds?

I had never considered doing this, so I never do and it works just fine for me. I think if pouring off the soaking water had been important Chunyi would have drawn more attention to it. You could, of course, try both ways and see if you can spot the difference...
