Hi!
I've been using Photoread for 6 months, usually photoreading 5-10 books a day (as I feel like). But I have not had any results with Photoreading at all. I feel no difference between reading a book normally and using Photoread and activate it. Also, I have not had spontaneous activation yet.
However, I do belive that Photoread works, because I have acquaintances who can use Photoread very well and had great successes with Photoread. So, I guess I'm doing something wrong. I'm doing the prepare, preview, activation step properly, I'm quite sure about that, but because I feel no difference between activating the book and reading it, I'm suspicious of the Photoreading step. Also, as I stated above, I have not had any spontaneous activation yet with Photoreading 5-10 books a day, but at least photoreading 5 books every day, while the people I know have had their first spontenous activation after using Photoread for 3 months and photoreading only 1 book a day. So that's the other reason why I'm suspicious that I'm doing something wrong in the photoreading step. So, here's what I'm doing when photoread:
1. Preparation
I get into the relaxed state, state my purpose and put on the tangerine. I think it's okay, I have no problem with that.
2. Reaching the alpha state of mind
I think I'm doing this well, when I'm in alpha, I feel totally relaxed and I feel myself concentrated, ready to do something with ease.
3. stating my purpose
I think I have no problem with this. I never state irreal purposes like
" to get 100% on the next exam", only real purposes like these:
"I desire the pieces of information in this book in order to reach my
goal, which is to take a successful exam/increase my knowledge etc.
4. Photofocus
Well, I think there's the problem. Although I see the cocktail-weenie
and the blippage and the stereograms (the paralell-view stereograms, so I'm not crossing my eyes) with ease, but I have read that you need to see both pages at the same time when in photofocus. I think this is the problem. While I see the blippage, my I don't see both pages at the same time, in fact I'm focusing at the middle of the book.
So my question is: Do I have to see both pages while seeing the blip or not? Because according to Paul, there are 2 methods of getting into photofocus: one is the imaginary X- technique and seeing both pages, and the other one is seeing the blippage, but he doesn't say that you have to see both pages, and that's my qustion, do I have to see both pages or not?
I hope someone who sees the blippage and had sucesses with photoreading, spontaneous activation could tell me the answer and what he/she sees when
in photofocus and seeing the blippage.
5. chanting and flipping pages, it's easy, so I think I have no problem with that.
6. Stating that your photoreading of the book was succesful and you will reach your goal
I think this is okay, I never forget to do this every time I photoread,
because some said this is very important.
And that's what I'm doing during the photoreading step.
At first, I tred to use Photoread for not scientifical books then for scientifical books, but had no succes with either. Also I never try to
force photoreading a book, I only photoread when I feel like to, but now I'm disappointed a bit.
I'd be very grateful, if anyone could answer my question and tell me what am I doing wrong.
Best regards
