It seems as if I've either just eaten or about to eat a meal when I'm ready to practice. Can I practice 30 minutes after eating or do you have to wait a lot longer? I end up not practicing at all because of this. So I wonder if it's better to practice even if it's right after eating or not at all because of digestion issues.

Thanks

Same thing happens to me. I've noticed that "shower time" or "bathroom break!" also tends to arrive not long after I finish the active exercise.

I practice anyway. And when it's time to shower or if I need to use the facilities, I do so. I figure a little practice and a little benefit is better than none at all.

Thanks so much. I'm such a perfectionist. What happens is that if I cannot do something exactly as described, then I don't do it at all. So, I never follow through and then say, "Oh, it didn't work." Well, really, "I" didn't work it. I'm sticking with SFQ. Even with resistence and excuses. \:\) Thanks to people like you who work through whatever issue I throw out there, it shows me that I have no real excuses.

I agree with both MB and your response.

Remember one of the essential principles of SFQ is "good, better, best". There is no "bad".

Someone once said, "the 'best' is the enemy of the 'good' (or something like that).

As someone who has a bit (at least! ) of OCD, and ADD, I do indeed know the problem of which you speak! And though I try to keep the principles, I too have come to the place where when I can't, I do "good" or "better", when I can't (or don't) do "best".

The more you practice, the more you are leading your energy towards "better" and "best", without even trying. It is a Taoist approach-- sometimes less effort leads to better results.

The more important principle is consistence.

Kudos to you for sticking with it. You will be amply rewarded, I assure you. I know I have been! And I am so grateful: to LSC, to Master Lin, and to the Source of wisdom and healing.

blessings,

Steve
