Hi,
I don't know when I am in photofocus 'mode'.
How i know when i am in that mode.

The manual describes a 'bleep' page and when you are in that mode the words are 'blurry'.

The strange thing is, when i 'squint-eyed' the words are also blurry and i can see the whole page and the bleep page but i don't think thats the right way.

The manual says:
'Hold the page so close to your eyes that it touches your nose. Relax your eyes so
they are uncrossed and you see a blurry field of dots. etc etc'

When i try that i can get the 'blurry' result but when i turn the pages my eyes will auto focus to the normal situation...

Do you guys know more strategies? thanks!

Forget the blip page. It's much more important that you relax your focus and relax yourself. The blip page is optional. So use the imaginary x-technique that works for everyone. People with vision in only one eye will never get the blip page and if one eye is weaker than the other getting the blip page may be more trouble than it's worth.

So relax your gaze. Notice both pages imagine an x to help you keep your awareness on both full pages. The text becomes lightly fuzzy and the blip page may or may not show up.

not at all. I usually don't even look for the blip page. The imaginary X is perfect.
