Hi Guys,
I have Chronic Fatigue and Asthma. I was wondering using the level 2 techniques if someone could outline how they would use level 2 techniques to do a SFQ healing on themselves. I still can't feel where blockages are, And I guess I would have to open all the points to do with the lungs and the lungs themselves as outlined in the manual...But I have no idea where the cause or blockage starts or even what organs to try to work on with my chronic fatigue?

I also have extremely dark circles under my eyes how would I work on that aswell?

Thanks

Uly

I'm no expert, but it sounds to me as if you may be jumping the gun just a little bit. Rather than worrying yourself about where blockages are, why not just start by practicing the Level I exercises with all the serenity, joy and confidence you can muster?

I'm willing to bet that as time goes on you'll become more sensitive to sensing and manipulating your chi. Why not just let the process unfold naturally?

Hi Monkbiker,
I have been been doing the level 1 active exercises and meditation (small universe)for 6 months now for 2 to 3 hours a day and I have seen no improvement...infact I have gotten worse. In the last few days I have tried the level 2 techniques on myself and for healing others in my family plus animals. I have felt better after doing this...so I thought I would get some more help from those who have done level 2. Hopefully some signs of improvement will happen some as I will have to quit my job If I keep getting worse. I will also keep doing the active exercises and small universe and add the level 2 techniques aswell.

With a little more guidence from you guys I might get some relief from this debilitating illness.

Cheers

Uly

Well, now this is very interesting. I can understand how frightened you must be, but IMHO, there might be signs of hope here! Really! \:\)

Now, you say you have seen no improvement, and while I do understand that 6 months might seem like a long time, it is not (unless you have only had these problems for a couple of months before)

However, I do salute you for putting in 2-3 hours every day. That is awesome!

And there is a good sign, possibly: you say that "I have gotten worse". Now, first of all, I think what you must mean is the symptoms have gotten worse. You don't get worse. It might seem like a trivial or subtle distinction, but an important one.

And secondly, the fact that anything has "gotten worse", is very interesting. Why? Have you talked to your health care professional about this "getting worse"? If so, they must have some opinion. Do they believe that this due to the 2-3 hours of practice?

In any case, while this might not seem to be a good thing right now, the truth is that change can often be a good thing, even if it seems like it has "gotten worse". When energy blockages move, things change. If nothing had changed in 6 months, one way or the other, while I would still hold that 6 months might not be long enough, I would wonder why there is no change in any direction.

But in this case, I think that you are indeed moving the energy! And if something has "gotten worse" it could well mean that you are on the verge of success.

I have experienced this myself in many ways in my practice. A small example (or maybe it is more like a metaphor or a parable, because it cannot be compared to the severity of your conditions):

When I sit in lotus to meditate, it hurts. It is still new for me and it hurts. Sometimes quite a lot. Once I get into the meditation, the pain recedes for awhile, but often comes back. And at a certain point it feels like it has "gotten worse"! A lot worse! And I just want to stop the meditation.

Sometimes I do. But what I have noticed and what I have learned from MAster Lin, is that if I am willing to go past the point where it seems the worst, that is where my breakthrough comes.

Now, obviously, I can't promise this for someone else.

But in your case, based on what you have written about things changing and the fact when you do Level 2, you feel somewhat better are both good signs, though one feels better than the other.

I think I partially agree with our monkbiker friend, in that I would let go of the need to detect the blockage. And I think you can apply his advice to your question, and not only with Level I, but also with Level II.

In other words, don't be concerned about the detecting, but work on yourself, where you think the blockages, might be. As you say, the lungs are a good place to start, after opening up the C7 point. Use the lung clearing technique on yourself, after opening up the parts of the spinal cord relative to the places you are going to work on. Open up the windows of the lung parts as it describes in the Level II instructions. Do the lung clearing technique.

The Level II active exercises might help you a bit also. Both the standing posture exercises, as well as the Cloud Hands and 10,000 Hands Practice, seem to help me with my energy levels.

What are the messages that you give yourself when you do your meditations and active exercises? This is key. ALthough putting the time in is also important, the message, signal and information that you communicate to you body are also very important. Maybe even more so.

Emphasize as you begin that "I am getting better, I am healing, my channels are open, I have more energy, my breathing is normal" etc. Tell yourself this with as much intention and intensity, as you can throughout your day.

Also, you might want to do the finger massage technique for the lungs from Level II.

You are indeed making progress. Don't worry so much about where the organs are or where the blockages are: the energy will go where it needs to. If you want to visualize it more and need to know where everything is, an anatomy book can be helpful or you can go to this webpage, that I like:
http://www.innerbody.com/htm/body.html

And as for detecting, I can relate! \:\( I still have some problems with detecting. I asked Master Lin about this. He said just keep practicing and it will come. It is important to trust whatever comes up, no matter how it comes up: a feeling, an image. a thought, whatever. Just trust the first thing that pops up. I have done this and have found some remarkable almost miraculous progress sometimes.

But as for you specific issues, don't let your progress in detecting stop you. I think you are making great progress. I repeat: both the symptoms seemingly getting "worse", and your feeling better after practicing Level II techniques on yourself and your animals are VERY good signs!

You are doing great! Keep up the good work!

Aloha Uly,

I can appreciate and agree with all to some point.

If you'd like to do the Level Two healing steps on yourself - great. An easy time for most is in the morning after brushing their teeth in front of the mirror. Work on that body in the mirror.

Rub your hands together, do the detecting as Chunyi talks and shows in the video/manual. Trust whatever shows up - notice any change in sensation, as it may not be the classic shaking of the scanning hand. Be okay with what does and doesn't show up. Start with C7 work on where you've picked up something. If you didn't notice something, work on what you "sense" you should work on. Be sure to work on your kidneys as taught in Level Two, the tailbone & sacral area, and clear the whole spine from top to bottom while you're at it.

Relax and don't make it a big process. Take just a minute to detect, then 2-3 minutes to work on the blockages and body. Then start you morning!

Be sure to place yourself in the weekly group healing mediation and look for opportunities to do good things for others - a lot of times that can also help us get off the "what's going on with me" focus.

It's my birthday today, so I'm going to share/send you a big "grateful for: the opportunity to be alive; for my body that has been through a lot with me in this life; and for the incredible grace I receive every day of my life from the people I know, and those I don't" hug,

Feel it?

and of course, Much Love...

Thankyou Monkbiker, Shawn and Shakurav (for you huge post) for your inspirational posts. I have tried many healing systems in the past 12 years to heal my CFS and Asthma and have never had any luck with them. I felt something special about SFQ and thought by 6 months I would atleast see a little improvement. When in the last 3 months I started getting worse I thought that maybe it was me or maybe some type of karmic situation that I would never heal...especially when I read about all the wonderfull healing that have happen with SFQ. I really started to lose faith in my ability to heal myself.

Your posts have been inspirational and have got me back on track. This morning after brushing my teeth I did some healing on myself and I opened my whole spine. I felt a beautiful cool energy run down my spine from my head to my tail bone. I had a sense of peacefullness all the time I was at work today which is unusual lol ;-)

A couple of months ago after doing the active and meditaion exercise when I went from doing each exercise from 30 mins to 1 hour I got a pain in my neck on the left side which lasted a week...so maybe my body releases pain before I get better??

Shawn...Do I do my sword fingers ect into the mirror when healing myself, because at the momment I am point to myself and getting my arms twisted into knots lol I also find pointing to my kidneys very hard on my arms.

Thanks guys for the posts...you made my day.

Cheers

Aloha Uly,

Yeah, reaching around to the kidneys is a real bummer!

;\)

You are detecting and working on that body in the mirror. It's not your body, it that body, there. Anyway, you SF that body. If you need to work on C7 or somethign in the back of the body, shoot through the body to that location - no need to put your arms into pretzels.

Much Love,

Shawn
