I saw this article today. "Higher education my(sic) benefit brains of elderly, study finds" http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05073/470997.stm Just goes to prove that building additional neural networks is a good thing.

This is an interesting point.

Like Vera says the more memory nuggets you have the more you can afford to lose.

A similar study was published in 2001 with people who have hobbies that are brain stimulating. doing the crossword, jig saw puzzles and such. So if you haven't got a long formal education there are other ways to stimulate the Neural Pathways.
