Dear Forum,

I am trying to make sure that my photofocussing is being done correctly. I like the blip page method because i can easily see it. However, I have tried another variation of this method by drawing a 2 cm vertical pencil stroke in the middle of each page of a small document. This way, I can photofocus 1 page at a time as psychologically, I think I prefer it that way but it may not be any different. Anyway,

When I photofocus, I see to the right of the pencil stroke a blip stroke about 1.5” to the right of the pencil stroke I made. When I consider the left side of the pencil stroke, I see that the text on the left side of the stroke I made appears to have move towards the pencil stroke in a rightwards direction, again about 1.5”. That is, I don’t see a blip pencil stroke on the left.

So, my questions are (I think);

If I use the normal blip page method, is photoreading the right hand pages more dominant and successful than the left because the ‘blip’ pencil stroke appears on the right?

Is it more successful on the left because the text on the left of the blip moves to the right?

Shouldn't the pencil stroke I make be in the centre of 2 blip strokes? i.e. the pencil mark I make moves to the left (or right) with the corresponding blip on the right (or left).

Do some people experience the ‘blip’ on the left hand side of the real object and does this show left/right eye dominance ?

Is using the blip method inferior to using the X method of looking at the four corners of the open book because it doesn’t use ‘blip’?

Does this anomaly matter?

Thanks,

Maz

No, anomalies do not matter, just keep at the Photoread process.

There are many ways for it to work, just pass over the pages with keen intent.

Thank you for replying. I am indeed forgetting about the science behind it and just going with the flow.

A question though... When I am Photofocussing, as I turn the pages, I go in and out of Photofocus as the "turned over page" is turned over and moving towards my eyes. Is this ok as long as I keep the mantra going?

Thanks

I did that until I got so good at it I found myself on the other side of it where I was slipping into Photo focus when I would otherwise not want to.

I guess you can continue on or you can switch to the 'X' method or you can just turn the pages not worrying about 'any' focus. As I am convinced it does not matter.

I do not blimp any more. I am confident of the underlying principle that you are always recording your entire environment, especially with your eyes, no matter where, or to what your conscious mind is attending upon. But Photoreading is built upon the wildly proved out principle of focused intention and attention.

Your eyes see all things they are exposed to, it is just light. Rest upon that fact and keep mentally clear with mantras.

It is intent that counts and passing over the material with that intent. An old occult maxim is...

"Where your attention goes, so flows your power".

Attention is GOLD, the soul's gold. Just ask your 'partner' <smiles>
