I have a beam in my office. It is close to where my legs are in the chair where I sit. And I think it is very weird that I have developed bunions on my feet and other feet problems, maybe since I moved into this office. I can't move my chair enough to make a huge difference, because I want to be able to stretch my legs out often when I sit.

The beam is the same color as the ceiling, and it is several inches wide and maybe even deeper. I would have to ask my landlord to cover it with fabric, which may seem weird to him. And if I were to cover it, how do you keep the fabric on, and where do you put the fabric? On the end of the beam, or all over it? How would I explain it to my clients??

Aloha samantha,

Tell me more about what "a beam in my office. It is close to where my legs are in the chair where I sit" means. Is it a large beam and it is right over your legs/feet?

Are your feet mostly under a lip of a desk, making the beam above them a potential non-issue?

Much Love, Shawn

Sorry I guess I could have been clearer. The beam is on the ceiling. But part of the beam goes over the area where my legs are when I sit. I sit in a chair most of the time talking to people, not at a desk. So the beam is more than 5-6 feet above the legs, but they are not protected by a desk. It is wide, 5 inches thick maybe. Thanks.
