Over the past half year I've developed a habit of regularly rowing (indoors) and I'm having trouble adding a regular SFQ practice on top of that especially during days where I don't have a lot of free time.

I was wondering if there would be any benefit to trying a SFQ meditation while rowing and which one might work best? I vaguely recall reading something about SFQ and walking. Rowing is a little more involved than walking, but it is a very repetitive activity.

Hi,
It would be difficult to cultivate stillness while rowing! Rowing is active, meditation is inactive. You could employ active alignments to rowing. Tongue up, spine/crown alignment, breathing into the lower dan tien, holding a focus(very good). You also have primary energy points in your palms and bottoms of your feet. Some attention there could stimulate the meridians. Say, grabbing more with just your hands and keeping your arms more relaxed and open, is more stimulating to the meridians in the arms. Pumping the bottoms of the feet stimulates the bubbling spring points. So, you can sort of row more internally, as opposed to externally. Smiling is good. Seeing yourself as a young good looking and healthy rower!
love,
gallen
