I know anxiety free is to eliminate anxiety...but to curb carelessness? I'm very careless in exam(especially in maths) and loss a lots of marks!!

Also, sometimes in the middle of exam, i cannot calm down and relax
and keep looking at the clock until i cannot fully think...my heart beat is fast and breating rate is high...sometimes even blank out although looking at some questons that r familiar to me.these r the problem i face during exam....I still cannot figure out what's wrong with me?

I really want to boost my performance in exam b'cos i study very hard most of the time. However i realize what i did is not rewarding...hmmmmmmmmmm

Any advice...i hv paraliminal title like memory supercharger, 10 min supercharger personal genius and anxiety free. i listen to them before test...but little help. I still nervous and...ayee!!

Anything relaxing, maybe Deep Relaxation, so you can relax at will, not to fall asleep, but so you can control your tense feelings in exams.

As you seem to believe that you will feel tense or panicky in exams, maybe something like Belief or New Option Generator would help you create a better picture of how you will feel.

What you are describing sounds a lot like a panic attack. These are no fun at all, but they can be overcome.

Good luck!

Hi Seng
I have used paraliminals to assist with my studying and exams as follows:

1) Before study session listen to personal genius

2) I will study listening to some classical music in the back ground remembering to take short breaks (5 minutes - I actually get up and leave my desk) at intervals. When I get back to studying I first review what I had just studied before moving on.

3) Once I have completed my study session I will listen to memory supercharger.

4) Whilst I am going to sleep or daydreaming I visualise myself in the exam - seeing myself calm and with a big smile on my face because I knew the answers to the questions in the exam!! I would also visualise opening my exam results and seeing the bit of paper which had DISTINCTION written on it with my name!!

Works each time for me and my exam results have always been better than a pass, i have had merits and distinctions!!

Preparing yourself mentally for an exam is really important and you need to try and think about what you are going to do when questions come up that you think you cannot answer so that you don't freak out. Sometimes just writing down on a scrap piece of paper everything you know about the question is enough to start your brain thinking.

The use of mind maps have also helped me considerably, oh and always trust your instinct.

Hope this may be of help to you, as I said it works for me.

Good luck and Happy studying!!

Treschic
