Hi All.
I'm a photoreader myself, I read NASA report today. Aside from Learning Strategies' response(http://www.learningstrategies.com/PhotoReading/NASA), I have my own query about NASA Report.

1. The reading materials used for test are "dense" material. As an Ace Photoreader, I can use PR to finish dense material fast and comfortably. Yet it might be struggling for a newbie photoreader to use Photoread on that kind of material, I know that. Alex emphasizes that a lot. Conquering "dense" material isn't just about PR "Technique", you must understand PR's principle (mind-body connection, build in layers, relax, NOPS) deeply, you must have a good set of mind probing questions.

2. The report says "Previewing" and "Photoreading" make you have a "false" confidence about the material, you feel you have known much but in fact not. It's ridiculous, as far as I know, every Good Reading Strategy contains a Preview period.


After all, PR helps me a lot in my life. I really would like to Thank Learning Strategies Corporation. I met PR in 2006 and got many many helps from here, Don't rush to PR, Be patient to learn it, give up your old Reading Habit. And once you mastered it, it's a beautiful thing!
