Hello, I'm still confused as to what the numbers on page 13 mean : i.e. Number 4 for Southeast, 9 for South, 2 for Soutwest, etc.

These don't relate to our personal energy number, do they? If so, they're mighty confusing.
For example, I have a friend who is a 4, metal. But on this page, 4 represents the Southeast, and is destroyed my metal. A similar situation occurs for my number and element.

I've written in to get clarity before, but it's never been explained to me in a way that makes sense.

They don't relate to your personal energy number(PEN) per say.

Each direction has a symbol, element, number, etc. associated with it at a Space Feng Shui level. The number "2" for instance is associated with the SW, and since SW represents romance, collaboration, motherhood, you'd place your activation for that area in pairs (2's) t reflect this.

Your PEN is associated with your 4 best direction at a personal feng shui level (think of it as a energy strata or level that you are activating, different than the space feng shui, or time feng shui levels). So think of them at this point as two different things.


P.S.
Not to confuse things, but others may be interested on a side note that one's PEN (unless you as a 5), is actually the number that represents your wisdom direction. So your friend who has a PEN of 4, will have SE (which is the direction in general space feng shui represented by the number four), as his/her growth direction.

Those with PEN's of 1 will have N as their Growth direction, 2's have SW, 3's have E as their growth direction, etc.

The 5's, following this would fall in the center on the chart on page 13, and so instead, share SW and NE with anther PEN.

that helped, but what about the directions with 6, 7, 8 and 9 as their numbers? wouldn't it overpower these directions to put this many activations? or is it simply up to our personal judgement and taste?

oh, and interesting side-note about the PEN number being related to our wisdom directions.

As I understand it, you don't really do multiple activations. You do one activation that incorporates the direction's number in it. For instance, if you are activating with something golden in the South, you might place a bowl with 9 golden coins in it, but if the golden activation is for the Northwest, you would use 6 coins. If your activation calls for a wind chime in the Northwest, you might hang one with 6 cylinders on it, but look for one with 8 to hang in the Northeast, etc. When my activations call for a crystal in the North, I place one there. But when such an activation is needed in the West, I get a little bag and put seven little crystals in it. At least that's what I understand about it.

AS Margaret Ida was explaining - you don'
t need to place that number of activations in the sector who's number is, let's say 8. Keep it simple, and yet, you can get creative as she mentions with the coins.
