Hi,
I need to change the mountain of my house. It is Period 8 S2 at 181 degrees. Because the bedrooms are at the NE, N and NW, I wish to convert it to S1, as it is the most feasible solution, other than starting a giant reno.
Can I use a hexagram to shift the door 10 degrees towards the East and into S1? Or how much can I shift it with a hexagram? I may combine it with some carpentry to complete the shift.
I MUST change the mountain. I already had a miscarriage in the current configuration, and I don't think I could bear with another loss :,-(
Thanks a lot for your help.

You can shift to 186 degree or back to 176 degrees. I am in the same situation as yourself. I have heard there is 1 other solution which I am currently implementing in our home (period 8), that is to open the area toward the west. So, since a road is in the west, I am removing trees, shrubs, etc. in that area. Also, since 3 controls 8, I have found a power strip with a glowing red light works well in the N1 bedroom.

Great point John. With a hexagram you can shift 5 degrees either numerically up or 5 degrees numerically down from the current degree point, which would mean you would still be in that S2 mountain.

I send much love your way regarding your loss and wish you all the best Lucia. Another thing to look at may be to boost your personal health directions, activate the power and abundance stars and take a look at where any of the less that ideal stars fall for the 20 year cycle and the yearly cycle. Cure any disaster and illness stars. I am a big believer that energy flows where attention goes and giving yourself as much support in you personal best directions, taking care of yourself in the ways you need are goign to go far.

Also, if you want to go into further depth via phone give one of our Feng Shui coaches a call.

All the best,

Kat and John,
Thank you for your replies. I gave in and started a change in a different door of 30 degrees, to convert it to a SE1. Now the metal door is messing things up. The reading I take standing on the threshold is different from the reading I get if I place the compass against the door while closed. It is abvious why it changes, but it is confusing me about which direction to use.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Lucia

Hi, Lucia,

I have a similar with the front door of my home and I decided to take the reading on the threshold because that's the frequency I send out to the universe when I go through the door. I think I will place a hexagramm above the door just to confirm to the universe that it should take this reading.

All the best!

Hi Astrid,

Yes, I think I will go ahead with the treshold reading. If the energy enters the house only when the door is open, the reading should be relevant only when the door is open \:\)

I am really rusty on the FS, as I abandoned it in dissapointment a couple of years ago. But now I think I better use everything I have in my arsenal, as I have a lifelong project underway.

I have to change the mountain, because I have only disaster stars in bedrooms, and power and abundance in bathrooms.
I will have to use a hexagram at the door regardless, as the new SE1 will put illness in my front door, but I think this is the only configuration logistically possible to remove illness from where the beds sit (there will still be disaster in the bedrooms, but not in any bed area), and it also gives power and abundance to the beds.

I do not want to move because this house is in the middle of a natural park, and it has a perfect location in relation to water, mountains, fresh air, and privacy! so I will work with what I have now, until I can do a major reno next year...

Thanks a lot!

Hi Lucia,

It sounds like you are well on your way and I do believe we spoke earlier today.

Know that there is no such thing as perfect feng shui and we all do the best we can with the resources we have. At times Marie even speaks of the less than ideal stars as opportunities for transformation and increased awareness. It all depends on how we perceive and work with the energy around us.

When you place your cures for the less than ideal stars, continue to bolster your personal best directions and take advantage of the abundance stars, power stars and the like, you put yourself in a great position. Energy flows where attention goes.

Also, if you do have an abundance, power or relationship star that falls into a draining room according to looking at the house as a whole, you can activate that star in the corresponding segment of a room you spend time in. For example: say you have an abundance star in the east and that happens to be your bathroom when you look at the 9 directions chart transposed over your house as a whole. You can divide a room like your living room or home office into the 9 directions and activate that abundance star in the east segment of the room. Intention drives this process.

All the best!
Kat
