I am trying to change my place from a S3 house to a SW1 house, I am wondering what the best hexagram for this is - since the average of the three measurements on the door adds up to 200.5 - my thought is that 57.4 is the best out of my options, but I would love your input as sometimes these iching's meanings are hard for me to understand. If there is a more fruitful hexagram would you please advise me of which one it would be? Do you think this choice is a good one?

Hi,

It looks like you are right on with your thought of using the 57.4 hexagram.

Sam Reifler's I Ching, A New Interpretation for Modern Times, is a very helpful resource. With any hexagram you are able to shift your door reading 5 degrees up or down, therefore you can shift to 205.5 or down to 195.5 and the varying degrees between.

This seems like the most favorable for you out of the "Penetration of the Wind" collection. As stated in Reifler:

"The hunter takes game for its threefold use... Like this hunter, you make full use of your resources, considering equally your material life, emotional life, and spiritual life. You are able to find some good in everything."

All the best!
Kat
