Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Diamond Feng Shui Good Desk Color for NE of house but N of room

I'm shopping for a desk for my office which is in the NE sector of my house but in the N sector of my office. It is hard to find a blue desk. And I am not fond of black furniture. Metal and glass stuff seems too hard and cold. I'm wondering...would it be bad to put wood here? Particularly if it is a reddish or orangey or yellowish hue? Since it is in the NE sector of the house I'm wondering if I can get away with this. BTW the walls of the room are white and the carpet is a creamy beige. I would appreciate any help in this area.

Be sure that you are facing one of your personal best directions and you are out of the flow of direct traffic from the door. The NE is also represented by small earth. You'll want to bring a bit of earth energy in to balance and activate the energy of the NE. Fire enhances earth so that is a great accent to include as well. Play with it and see how you feel.
