I just got the hexagram course, and have studied the entire "a new interpretation for modern times" by sam reifler trying to find a good hexagram to put in my relationship direction to attract a great relationship with the opposite sex. But I can't seem to find one that seems positive and is specifically for that. 20.4 seems to be about politics. And 55.5 seems very work related. Can you suggest one that is good for romance?

28.2 is a good suggestion for relationsships, as well, according to the leaflet. Maybe you can surround it with images of what you want to increase the effect.

I have been pondering a lot on this topic. So far, it seems to me that 20.4 is about relationships in general. If I remember the CD correctly, "man" refers to men and women, only if the interpretation explicitely says "woman" then it refers to women only. So 55.5 "He gathers around him brilliant men" may also mean "He/She gathers around him brilliant men/women". If you place this hexagram in your relationship area of your office then it should have an effect on your business relationships, if you place it in your relationship area of your bedroom, then it should have an impact on your private relationships.
55.1 might be a good idea as well, depending on what you want to achieve: "He meets his mate who is very much like him".

I think this is a very interesting topic, I hope others will also share their ideas.

If you try out a hexagramm for 9 weeks and you don't like the results then you can still place a different one. But maybe you'll get some other opinions which will suit your purposes better...

Thanks for the suggestion of 55.1 my only concern with this is that it seems like I would be deficient in an area, and my partner would be good in that area and visa versa...and without eachother we wouldn't have any success - which sounds like a codependent relationship to me? These are quite cryptic...so part of the problem is that I'm not quite sure how to interpret them!

28.8 is good, but it says something like it's a reigniting of an old flame...which makes me think it's for invigorating a preexisting relationship...something I definitely don't want to do...then again, I could be reading this and misinterpreting...
