Please help! We're moving from MT to FL soon and will be renting a home for at least a year. The landlord is so concerned about moisture in the house he wants us to take any plants outside to water them! That means no fountains or bamboo plants. What can we do when cures/activations call for a fountain? Also, there is no living room, only a "great" room which combines several rooms, so there are no walls, only a lot of space. Nowhere to put couches & chairs to have a solid wall behind our backs or even a mountain picture. Hope someone in FL is a feng shui expert. Thanks much!

Aloha 2spoooks,

Your Great Room is technically the living room of the house then.

You work with what you have in regards to the space and furniture. There may not be "support" behind the couches/chairs other than their backrest, however, look at it in perspective of them being able to see the flow/entrances into the room. You'll probably find that those couches and chairs are gravitated to more often.

Images of water / moving water can be soothing to the spirit and help cover actual water activations to some degree.

Much Love,

Shawn

You can separate and make "rooms" using screens.
