Hi Friends,

I'd like some insights about the process of self-healing.

I am on Level 2 of SFQ and before I really do any healing on others I want to first take care of my own little issues, for two reasons: 1st) because I believe that one must be in a good state himself, before being able to help others; and 2nd) because this way I will be practicing the process on myself first.

So, here I am trying to heal what seems to be a farsightedness condition in my eyes. I follow the steps on Level 2 of the program, however it's taught to be done on someone else, and I do have to adapt some steps as doing on myself.

Do you have any experience with this, to tell me if I am doing it right, please?

I first do the Active Exercises, and without the ending exercises I move right away to Small Universes - 3 rounds, sitting down.

Chunyi Lin says that when we do this eye healing on others we have to be sure to open the channels in the head first, and also he says that a blockage in the liver could cause some eye dysfunction. So, I believe that doing the exercises before my self-healing opens possible blockages in the liver, and head (C7, lower part of the head, top of head, 3rd eye, and throat). Does sit make sense? Or do I need to do something else?

Then, I do the ending exercises to harvest QI, and then, with the Sword Fingers I break the blockages in my right eye first (the best one) and pull the blurriness and farsightedness out, straightforward, to the floor, back to the end of the Universe, saying and doing like Chunyi advises. I do this for 3 or 4 times, then I put some energy 9 times with the palm of my hand (I even feel a warm sensation on my eyelids) -- and then I thank the Universe (my Master who I called upon at the beginning) and I move to the left eye, following the same process.

When I finish, I rub my face, massage the corner of my eyes, and rub my hands together until they get warm and place them on top of my eyes for a while, 2 or 3 times.

And I go on with my day.

I have been doing this for about 3 weeks, almost daily. But I sense I must be doing something wrong because the teaching on Level 2 is not focusing on self-healing, and I am a little lost, and still not seeing the results I expect.

I'd love to hear from someone with more experience on this self-healing process, especially, "eyes" self-healing.

Thank you so much!

Rose

Sounds like you've got your bases covered. That's a great start and are adapting the system well. Just let go of any "expectations" you may have as well as doubts, trusting the Universe and the Master's Energy--which will enhance the process.
In other words, if subtle ideas like "this is taking too long" or "not what I expected" or "why doesn't this work the way I want" just let em go, trusting in the completion of what you want to accomplish and you'll go far.

Also, Level 2 is about self-healing as much as healing for others, it's just more 'directed' in the aspects of "outside" healing. Sometimes we also experience reflections from other people...sort of like when you "heal the good side first"--I've noticed that you can heal someone else, and you'll heal in that area by helping them.

For instance, find a person (friend, family, etc) and do the healing for the eyes *for them* do a good job not worrying too much about it (pretend that it's them and not you, whose eyes you are healing) and you'll you be surprised that your own energy transforms as well....

At-least try it and see.... smile

No prob. Just glad to be able to assist in some way. (What's the point of having a good understanding of the philosophy if I kept it to myself? That'd be dull...) I hope ShawnGrim doesn't think I took over the forums, haha. I just wanted to help, perhaps I gave 'em a needed break wink
