Hello Braxton,
Sorry to hear you are sick , hope that you get feeling better soon. I started to really see "visible" results from my photoreading after a few weeks of photoreading.
Personally, in my experience, photoreading the photoreading book at least 3 or 4 times a day for a month will definitely sharpen your skills and make things just click.
In my experience, the best tricks and keys to photoreading success is:
1. Take care of yourself. Try to keep your food nutrition high quality at all times, lots of water, fresh fruits and vegs, lots of nuts, regular exercise, regular rest.
2. Completely read the photoreading course and book. Know it like the back of your hand.
3. Playfully practice over and over. (I made it a goal to photoread Photoreading book at least 3 to 4 times a day for the first month)
Since Alex is the moderator here, he will probably be able to give some feedback on that as well and even more tips.
Photoreading takes a lot of energy, because your mind is processing a lot of information, so if you feel you must photoread, I'd advise maybe just one or two books and then have some fresh, high quality food and water afterwards. Also, daily multi-vitamins and 1000mg Vitamin C works for me.
Get well soon my friend.
Thanks Mgickdoggie,
I just read your previous post, it's quite intriguing. If you don't mind me asking how long did it take until you started to see some results?
I remember a couple years ago when I purchase the book and trying out the steps for the first time I had one of those "aha" experience. I tried it out on my probability textbook. I photo read one chapter just for fun without activating. After photo reading for fun, I began reading the chapter since I had to. Within the first page of the chapter, I had one of those aha experience and it felt like I knew the chapter. It was an awesome experience. Unfortunately, the next day wasn't the same case. I know I should of kept trying but I became to busy to fully read the photoreading book and so I just set it aside. Now it has become my next challenge to fully master this skill. I'am also taking an on-line course on psychology hopefully i find connections between the two.
I'm just waiting for this cold to go away so I can more easily relax rather than blowing my nose every 10 seconds. Are their any tricks on photoreading when your sick? should you even photo read at all when your sick?
