Should I hold my finger on PgDn key, or it is better to press it repeatedly to turn pages to get a slower speed?

If I just see the pages flashing in a high speed, will my brain or eyes be able to record the images of the book?

Thanks for your help!

I don't recommend holding the page down or spacebar on the newer computers unless you significantly slow down the keystroke repeat in the computers setting. The software these days will jump pages without displaying them to catch up with the keystroke.

Tapping works best. It's not the speed it's the display. 36 frames a second works fine. Problem is that the software doesn't display 36 frames a second. It will jump to catch up with the keystroke.
