Hi, I looked for threads about the belief paraliminal through pretty much all the pages and did not get a sure answer, so I apologize if what I am about to ask has already been discussed.

I would like to use the Belief Paraliminal to change major beliefs, but I am still not sure how I should use it, even after reading the instruction booklet.

First, can this paraliminal really change major beliefs, like the ones of scarcity over money and big stuff like that? Or it can really only change small stuff? I’ve NEVER seen a thread here where someone said they changed major stuff and that makes me very discouraged, cause if it can’t happen for other people it surely won’t happen for me either. frown

Let's say for an example the belief I'd like to change is “I can’t make a lot of money”. Should I use Side A for days and weeks (once a day) until this belief starts changing and only then use Side B to install a positive belief? Is this the best approach? Also, how much should I insist on working on a certain belief? If I work on a belief for a month and get no results, should I give up on it and try another one?

Also, how do I know my work on a certain belief is done and I can go to the next? Is changing a belief supposed to take a long long time and be such a hassle? frown

I also find it confusing what to think about when I’m listening. As long as I state the belief I want to change in the beginning is it ok? Because I pretty much always dose off while listening and wake up frustrated because the way I feel or think did not get any better.

Any help will be much much appreciated!

Thanks and best regards to all,
Insearch.

There is a huge difference between making changes (what's the change goal) and changing a belief, (what's the belief)

On a conscious level we think one belief may be the problem and holding us back from experiencing major change in our life experience. However there are usually many other beliefs that are holding back.

You might think the belief is I can't make lots of money and with some foundation beliefs like, it's dangerous to make lots of money, my friends will hate me if I make lots of money, I have to work hard to make lots of money and I'm already working hard enough.

If you have a belief that you identify as holding you back, be prepared to uncover the deeper ones as well. So you'd listen to session A to work on changing the belief and Session B for installing the new belief. See the booklet that comes with the Paraliminal for Paul's tips and advise for listening to that Paraliminal.

How will you know when your work with a belief is done? You'll know.

Waking up and getting frustrated is a quick way to throw the spanner in the change work. If you doze off enjoy the nap. If you become alert when Paul counts you out, you've been listening well enough.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the elaborate answer. I read the booklet but I was still not certain of how I should proceed, that's why I created this topic. I really want to do this right and not end up with another dissapointment, reenforcing the fear that real change is impossible for me.

I am aware that an area of a person's life may be stuck due to many beliefs, not just one. That's why I am concerned about working on the same belief for a long time and not get results, cause this would mean it would take forever to be able to change all other associated beliefs and only after that finally be able to effect any external change in my life.

Would you recommend I listened to Session B since Day 1 of working on a certain negative belief? Or should I use only Session A for a couple of days (weeks?) and then only after the negative belief starts feeling weaker listen to Session B?

Thank you again. Anyone else is more than welcome to share their advice or experiences with using this paraliminal.

Best regards to all,

Nope I'd work on the belief and if that doesn't open up and point out the real beliefs that are blocking it, I'd consider other Paraliminals like Anxiety Free, Break the Habit and even Get Around To It.

The belief that you have to change a belief is a limiting belief that messes with all ones beliefs.

Hi. Per your invitation, I wanted to share how I have gotten the most out of this Paraliminal.

For me, using only Session B seems to work best, i.e., just focusing only on the belief that I want to install.

Further, I have determined a list of mental responses to the questions that Paul asks in the session ahead of time. I then briefly pause the program and think of the answers to each of the individual questions before restarting it.

Here is an example of a Session B protocol, along with my notes in parentheses, that I have been running for the past few weeks with great success:

Paul: What is the self-enhancing belief you desire to incorporate into your life right now?
My response: You love other people unconditionally (said mentally 2-3 times after briefly pausing the program; using the 2nd person instead of the first here seems to work just fine).

Paul: What will this belief assist you in having, doing, or being?
My mental response (after another brief pause): It will assist me in loving other people unconditionally (switched to the first person here as that sounds more natural to me).

Paul: What will you be giving up when you adopt this new belief?
My mental response: Anger; I will be giving up anger (surely that can get in the way of unconditional love).

Paul: Are you sure that this is acceptable to you?
My mental response: Yes (in fact, the answer to this question should always be yes!).

The results: I have been getting along noticeably better with other people, and I have also been much calmer and happier in general. Even my appearance has improved after a couple of weeks.

Further, I typically work on just one specific belief at a time, with the very same answers to each of the questions, by listening to the session 2-3 times per day for maximum affect.

Finally, I apologize if my response may have included an excessive amount of detail, and I hope it helps you get the most out of this program.

Best,

Biltwell

I am working my way through the Paraliminal Accelerator and I wonder what suggestions you may have about how to proceed when the true mental response is 'Not fully acceptable YET'

Paul: Are you sure that this is acceptable to you?
My mental response: Yes (in fact, the answer to this question should always be yes!).

Thanks for the support.

Why should it always be yes? If you decide that and it's not you're not being honest with yourself.

That's why Paul asks the question, to find out if it is honestly acceptable. If it isn't acceptable... what about it isn't. Is there something else that needs to be worked on or cleared? That's what the course and Paraliminals are about. Removing those blocks as well.
