Hi O,

Thats gr8 the way you are feeling .....& you are moving perfectly on the right track.....!!!Just one place i will want you to look into again--

As u mentioned "I have now more trust in the future."

You need to build more trust for "today" i.e, YOUR PRESENT ,so that the trust built in future is concrete by default.Because the roots of belief & happiness are in living & enjoying the present which grows in the future with more concrete results .WHAT I SOW IS WHAT I GET.The seed sown in present ,taken care & nurtured properly in present will grow into a tree & reap fruits in future by itself.Someone explained this to me & i applied it ...it works brilliantly!!!

Live the present the future is nurtured automatically......!!!!

I am happy for you that you are back with your belief.....!!!

Take care & Enjoy

Tmtim

Unfortunately, this is a course I just can't get through. I'm bored to death by the middle of CD 2. It's just about the least charismatic course I own. Any tips anyone?

Thanks timtim!

I'm quite aware that trusting the future is not everything. Being in the present is also important. And enjoying the past. I've had problems in all those, but now I know I can change things, and it stays changed. As long as I wish.

nitnit,

I know, I was also quite confused in the beginning. But not being charismatic does not mean he has nothing useful to say. So go through the course, at least the parts that are slightly interesting. And if the course has nothing to give you, return it.

My tip is listen to it. When you get stopped take a break and continue from where you left off. The manual will refresh the memory if needed. What makes courses tedious is the guilt trip and starting over because "we left it so long". Keep going from where you left off you might just find that it's the point where you needed to work for the sake of making that change you want

More beliefs found... I'm continuing my journey...

Usually such beliefs as I had found earlier (in one of the messages above) don't exist in solitude. They form a cluster of beluefs that suppert each other. So does this belief.

Now, OK, this thing that I have found is not a nice one, though I understand such bielfs are easily formed in clildhood. But I'm using the forum onvce more to hel myself think more clearly. If you are sensitive, please stop reading now. If yoy continue, it's on your own responsibility.

The belief goes something like this: " I have made a mistake that means I have failed my parents totally. This means that I have to be put dwn or finished of (lke a farm animal). I have no longer the right to exist, because of the mistake I made." I have no idea what kind of behaviour qualifies as a mistake in the belief, not yet. Neither what this "putting down" means (I'm still alive! ;-). Neithre do i know how who says what is a mistake". And how he/she communicates me the mistake is made. Or have there been several mistakes or just one? Finding answers to these questions might help me to get rid of this belief or formulating a new more constructive beleif. They are to be answered by me and no one else.

I have no idea whether this belief is the last one in the series to be found out. It may be or not. But I'm keeping an open mind. My mind has protected me from this belief almost whole my life. It's nnot easy to open the treasures inside. Let's hear what happens.

Edit: Another imposrtant question: What is my survival strategy?

Why do mistakes = failure? The word miss-take. Means you just found the way of doing something that didn't get you the results you desired. Post-it note glue was a mistake it went wrong. Still they came up with something that had a different use than what was intended. Without the mistake the company would lose out on a huge market. If wasn't a failure it's just something that produced the unexpected.

There really is no such thing as failure. It's all hidden behind a decision why you chose to create a mistake rather than head down the path you thought you should.

I've made the mistake of taking the wrong turn yesterday and later found out I missed getting stuck behind a clean up.

There is good in mistakes.

Yes, Alex!

What have I been doing lately? In almost every message I have written in thjis Forum I have left intentionally every single mistake in my writing. On purpose. I find it a very good way to track off the conscious mind to let the OTC mind read the real contents. I have re-labeled the mistakes as valuable. I beleive this has been part of my being able to facw the beliefs I have had (and... have). I value my mistakes.
