I have the ultimate you collection and I am currently recovering from depression which was caused by chronic acute stress due to family problems although during that time I was at university and I developed an aversion to reading books that were in any way related to my work, I think that this may have been an unconscious cognitive behavior that developed paradoxically to reduce stress from the academic part of my life since I couldn't reduce it from the family side. So i deceided to take a sabbatical and just focus on recovering. I have been on medication and my mood is stabilised but my concentration remains poor and I still have that aversion (my palms get sweaty as soon I even think about getting back into academics! - this is surely a classic sign that some strong unconscious aversion has taken place). How can I use the cd's to overcome this and regain my concentration and love for reading?

DavinderS,

I'm sure Alex will soon offer more direct product advice.

My overall suggestion is to let go and detatch from any expectations you have about what you think you want. Just trust your inner self to create the right circumstances and motivations. Follow your heart and it will lead you down the right paths, even if they are avenues which are completely new and fresh to you. Be open to being surprised!

I

You'll need to disassociate your love for reading from academics. With studying you have developed what looks like performance anxiety. Either you were studying something that you don't want to be doing for the rest of your life. (Often the case where one feels pressure to do a course of study "because it will pay well.").

The non conscious mind has set about protecting you from ...limbo?

You will need to find topics of interest for you and then use Anxiety Free to help you overcome reading anxiety. If you are a PhotoReader You might want to just do the PhotoReading step on the book to get okay with handling books and being curious about them.

On the academic front I recommend New History Generator.

You are already doing a lot to take care of this sensibly. You will need to continue to give yourself time.

With New Behaviour Generator and Anxiety Free you'll have a good start. Also if the pressure to succeed academicly came from other people or you even perceived it as pressure from other people (instructors and teachers included) Get out Perfect Relationship so you can stop them from pushing your buttons.

Alex
