I have been using Sedona Method for some time and just started playing with AFL a few weeks ago.
So the goal of both methods (if I'm hearing you rightly) is to ultimately experience pure bliss as well as live more fully and resourcefully in the present moment?
How should I feel after I perform the Feeling Exercise on a feeling that has come up? Is it some degree of bliss and thankfulness? Release?
Can't I get there thru just using of the Sedona Method way of releasing as well?
Also, Sedona is so much a part of my life that releasing spontaneously is automatic for me by and large- what impact would that have on using Arnold Patent's Feeling Exercise, where you intentionally experience whatever you are feeling before you show appreciation towards that feeling and yourself? What i mean is, very often, the original feeling I focussed in on feeling (shape, color, texture) is no longer there by the time I try do the Feeling Exercise- it seems that I have already spontaneously released it and am experiencing some degree of bliss already in the present! (thru the Sedona Method). I think I have reached a degree of unconscious competence with the use of Sedona Method that allows me to do this. It seems strange, but in order for me to do the Feelings exercise now , I then find myself having to go back to the original feeling which has already been released so that I can now use the Feelings Exercise on it.
Also, in order for me to do the Feeling Exercise, I have learnt to intentionally hold on to the current feeling longer so that I can do steps 2 n 3 of the Feeling Exercise. Seems clunkier than Sedona where before I've gotten to the stage of just spontaneously releasing.
Is this normal development? I would like to hear especially from practioners of Sedona Method AND anyone who is learning to use Sedona alongside the AFL Feelings Exercise. Can I get to the stage of spontaneously releasing and reclaiming power thru the Feelings Exercise, just as I have with the Sedona Method? What do you say?
Would really appreciate any input anyone may have...
