Has any experimented with, uh, shall we say...means of consciesness alternation that are heretical to the State?

There is a wonderful book on achieving altered states of consciouness using various non-drug related methods (meditation, breathing, dancing, focusing on mandalas, etc.) called _Stoned Free: How to Get High Without Drugs_ by Patrick Wells and Douglas Rushkoff. You might want to look at that for a number of ways to legally "have fun".

What the heck is an oxy?

a really nasty opiate, extremely addictive. Its the crack of pain killers, for the desperate and depraved.

Dunno, every oxy in the US flows threw my home city (houston), so maybe im a bit cynical.

No, your not cynical. Here in Kentucky there have been many died of overdose and atleast 10 doctors have been arrested for dispensing them like candy.

I once combined the use of a dissociative with the Deep Relaxation Paraliminal. To put it simply, I was not deeply relaxed.

It might be interesting to combine a Personal Celebration with something that induces closed-eye visuals, but I think I'll trust Sandy on this and enjoy my tapes without altering my perceptions.
