Tommm,

What sort of results, specifically, are you looking for? How would you know them if you had them? Knowing this information will help with giving you an answer that you might find useful.

If you want to use binaural beat frequencies with meditation, there are a variety of products available that aren't part of the swap personal income pattern that centerpointe seems to have mastered.

So, what do you want?

You say there is a booming market for reselling? Where do you find this? On Ebay?

Just curious: what did you mean by "swap personal income patterns" that holosync has mastered?

I too am wondering where to find used holosync cd's without affirmations. I've been assuming that one reason affirmations are included in the holosync program is to the discourage resale market.

I meant that money gets switched from your bank account to theirs on an ongoing basis.

The scheme they've come up with the keep customers paying them is very effective.

It works, I think, by generating a perceived need.

Their product seems to have varying effects with different people. I know it has a MASSIVE effect on me. I'm not sure what it is. But i think some folks go through change more easily than others. I have a feeling those who get nothing are either highly resistant or not very in tune with themselves. Who knows though.

It isn't that expensive. Believe me, the changes are madness and the price is about right. Especially since after awakening level 3 you need only buy a new level every year.

I think a lot of people neglect the fact that you don't need to go to the next level.

If you guys don't get anything from awakening prologue then try the release technique and then come back to it maybe.

All i know is that it impacts me BIG style in bad and good ways.

Tommmmmmm,
Do you know about Awakened Minds Inc. ?
They have a CD called Insight. I believe
it is more powerful than any of the Holosync
levels I've done so-far. I'm just starting
A/L 3. I have it and I use it sometimes instead of H/S. The really cool thing about
it is it's only $34.95
Check out their web-site www.awakenedminds.com

Good Luck
David

I am also wondering if anybody else has tried the Awakened Minds insight program. It sounds pretty good, especially the price. Just curious thanks.

I used H/S Awakening Prologue for two months, then switched to Awakened Minds for the following reasons:
-—Subsequent H/S levels are now almost $300.
—I suspect that the impact of H/S's lower carrier frequency is hyped
—I did not require H/S support services and found that much of the written support material was repetitive.
—I found the "bonus" H/S CD's (Longevity, Oasis, etc.) to be so bland and New Agey as to be unlistenable.
—I don't find affirmations to be particularly useful.

What I like about Awakened Minds:
—I prefer the sound of rain to the gongs-and-rain and musical offerings of H/S
—It 's flexible with its time, from 25 minutes to 2 hours (as is H/S, to be fair).
—It's affordable, and I'm not paying for all sorts of things I just don't want.
—The website is less hyped.

Basically I used H/S, and now use Awakened Minds, with my usual meditating techniques. I find that a "plain old" meditation practice improves life in countless ways. I can't say how adding binaural beats has improved my practice except that my sessions are quite a bit longer than they used to be, and with meditation, there's a lot to be said for "quantity."

One reason I think the binaural beat technology has been so effective is that some of its promoters virtually "promise" results if you just use it, and they offer support to get you through it. Those who teach meditation technique, however, don't usually promise or hype the results. But I suspect that for many people—certainly not all— just meditating for an hour every day using one of the many available meditation techniques would bring the same results — if they just DO IT. Forking over lots of money for promised results adds a powerful incentive to just do it.

I may well have not given binaural beat technology its due, but I'm sure other writers have and will. In any event, I'm very happy to have it, and open to changing my mind about its effectiveness as I continue to work with it.

I am curious myself to hear reactions to binaural beat technology from people who have already had very positive experiences with "regular" meditation, as well as anyone who can comment on the higher levels of H/S.

Bungle,

Highly resistant ... not me. I have experienced a variety of effects from sounds of all kinds ... including products that use binaural beat frequencies.

Not in tune with themselves ... Hmmm ... I feel that I am fairly in tune with myself. I pretty much know what's going on with me, feeling and experience-wise.

It really does seem to affect different people differently. I just don't get great results with it. I don't think it's worth the money. I use the Awakened Minds CD instead ... it does help me get tgo sleep on occasion and is an interesting way to relax and meditate.

My beef with Centerpointe is the marketing hype and ongoing price. I really do feel they are taking advantage of people ... even if some do get benefits from the products. They are way (and unnecessarily so) overpriced.
