On the other side of the Sound Health, Sound Wealth coin...
I ordered it in August 2004. I, too, had trouble with the headphones at night (as well as sleeplessness), so I rarely did the night session. That may have made a negative difference for me.
In her hypnosis sessions, she tells you twice that she will count you down to zero, then she counts you down to ONE. This left me feeling unbalanced and I couldn't get into a good hypnotic state--and I've been told repeatedly that I am an excellent hypnosis subject. This also bothered me because it created doubt. The introduction tell us how each CD is "carefully crafted", but how careful ARE they, if they can't tell the difference between "zero" and
"one"? HOWEVER, I posted that concern in this forum months ago and apparently I am the only person bothered by the zero/one issue. (I do software testing & technical writing for a living.)
So those were my outstanding issues. I listened to the program for about 6 1/2 months and... not much happened. For a while, about 2-3 months into SHSW, I thought I saw encouraging signs--such as feeling a little more relaxed and starting to see new health opportunites. But in the end, nothing came of it. I was as tensed up as ever, the health opportunities weren't opportunities after all, and I found myself feeling depressed.
I've quit listening to Sound Health, Sound Wealth. I'm back to my InnerTalk tapes. I've found I get more relaxation out of their Freedom From Stress CD.
HOWEVER, Sound Health, Sound Wealth may still be a valuable program for others and maybe even me at some future date. With every self-improvement program, CD, hypnosis, or strategy that I have ever tried, I manage to remain virtually unchanged. The only exception has been InnerTalk.com 's Stop Self Sabotage, and even that couldn't break through the self sabotage; it "just" made me accept myself a lot more. I was hoping that SHSW could help with that "refusal to improve"/blockage, but no. *sigh*
So if you're a "problem child" like me, you may be disappointed with SHSW until you can weed out that problem root. If you're "normal", you may love SHSW.
