I have been using self-esteem supercharcher, and have little success with it. I am looking for something that will make me feel positive emotions about myself and life. What is a good program for confidence?

Hmmmm....

If you're looking into changing self image as a means to change your feelings, you might want to look at Transforming Your Self by Steve Andreas as an adjunct to your work with paraliminals.

You might want to try the Belief paraliminal. If you interpret events in ways that cause you to feel bad about yourself and your life, then probably generalizations at work. That is, you're taking specific events in your life and generalizing them to mean things about your entire existence ... your self, you life.

So, Belief may assist you in creating new habits of perceiving things and interpreting events in ways that help you. Also, there is New History Generator.

Another book that might interest you is Learned Optimism, which is precisely about the kind of generalizations you want to stop making and the kind you want to start.

Hi there!

Self esteem supercharger only works for me when I have a positive and clear intention with it. I say it aloud and then it happens. More than not.

A different tape that has helped me is Anxiety free. It makes me shake the social anxiety I have with people. It's marvelous.

In my case, it's best to start with anxiety free since beeing with people which I feel uncomfortable with brings me down. Self Esteem is best for me to do second/secondarily (?). That way I take away the thing that bothers me and then build up the extra confidence.

Well, it works for me.

Do, and think, the things that make you happy. Stop doing and thinking, the things that make you unhappy.

It's your life, take control of how you want it to be.

Hey Rebel, do you have the Personal Celebration Series? I have three out of four, (the first three are in ideal mindset, decisive action and consistent achievement, respectively). they always do a pretty good job of pumping me up, at least temporarily. My favorite is the first one (I'm not sure of the name.) Its not uncommon for me, if I listen by myself in a quiet place with headphones, to have tears of joy streaming down my face by the end of the tape.

On a side note, I've been playing around a lot lately with the software at bwgen.com, I was thinking of making a preset that drops me down into theta/delta for 30-60 minutes and looping the "meat" of the celebration series, and then listening for a week or so as I fall asleep. Anybody try anything like this with this particular LSC product?

Kind of. Did something similar with Holosync + paraliminal. Had some varying results. Some fantastic, some nothing...

There's a thread over at the paraliminal-forum.

You might want to consider Boundless Renewal. That course is about gaining personal satisfaction and meaning from your life everyday.

The Euphoria collection is a nice way to check out a few of the techniques like Holosync, Sedona, Spring Forest Qigong, and is a feel good collection where yu can pick and choose a type how you would like to create positive feeling in the present. It even has a paraliminal not otherwise available in that course.

If you're looking for changing to a more positive focus because you're depressed, finding yourself filled with negative self talk, feeling trapped by circumstances, then I really would recommend the Resiliency Course.

Rebel.......there are several factors causing low self esteem. I would consider the following to be the major ones:

1. Low number of successes in life, whether it be in sports, job, money, friends, etc. etc...

2. The people you associate with. Perhaps some of them are low toned, some might be negative, some may be sorta lost themselves,.....etc...

3. The content of your REactive Mind, which is well explained in the book
Dianetics. The Reactive Mind, which Freud called the subconscious, is that part of the mind where are stored your experiences of pain, fear, loss, suffering, unconsciousness, abuse...etc. etc...which are all mostly hidden within your Reactive Mind, but which can take control over your emotions, your health, your thinking.

4. Watching too much TV, which if you consider it carefully is of low intelligence, full of negative news, false data, blaring advertising, sex and violence..........all of which ----and here's the crucial point------you are
recording and carrying around with you.

5. Personal programming which is the result of training, rearing, and education from those around you in your formative years.

There are other factors, but these play a major part.

Ponder these over and you'll hopefully you'll come to a decison to
TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE, BECOME MORE CAUSATIVE, AND DISALLOW OTHERS TO LEAD YOU INTO THE WILDERNESS.

Good luck.
