About 8 months ago I was curious as to why I couldn't spell easy words like 'teacher' backwards or took ages. It played on my mind normally in the evenings when I was about to sleep and atimes it became fustrating.

Then one day I dream't I could spell anything backwards and behold the night I woke up, I could not only spell any long word in the dictionary backwards but could spell it backwards after looking at the word for a nanosecond and seeing it faster than I could write it out on a piece of paper.

Anyone know what happened.

Since then I have found many of the techniques of PR easy to practice 1st time round. Didn't have problem seeing the blip page 1st time I started e.t.c.

When I was a kid in elementary school I suffered with math and multiplication tables. Then one night I had a dream that I learned it all. I scored 100% on my math test the next day, and since then I've been very good with math.

In fourth grade I could add long lists of numbers faster than anyone else.

In college, although I did not like math courses, I got As in everyone I took.

So, dreams can be very powerful.

(And if anyone wants to spell words backward try this: look up and to the left. Visually spell any word so that you can see the letters. Then spell it backwards by simply reading the letters up there in your mind backward.)

Pete,
Any ideas on how to consciously program for these types of revealing dreams? Using paraliminals, perhaps?

I, too, have had dreams reveal information to me that I didn't work to consciously work for or struggle at. I play the guitar, and have been delighted to wake up with songs in my head that I'm certain I haven't heard in the "real world". Question is: how can we deliberately cause this?

Good question.

I'd use the Dream Play tape. I just pulled it out of the upstairs cabinet. I'll begin playing with it this week--as soon as I can think of something to learn. I don't know what it could be now. I easily learn whatever I want to learn as it is.

Back a few years ago I bought a piano. I would use the New Behavior Generator for learning pieces after my teacher played them for me. Worked great. The most amazing aspect of that adventure was discovering that whenever I dreamed playing a particular piece it would be committed to memory. Not having to look a the sheet music freed me to master the piece and get into its emotion. I quit playing the piano, because I simply ran out of time. There are only so many hours in a day.
