Would performing the photoreading step many
times on the same book generate better manual activation ?

On the same note, does photoreading ever "expire"? If I photoread a book 2 years ago, would my activation be as successful as if I photoread it last night?

My guess is it would enhance manual activation if, each time you PhR the book w/ a specific goal stated. Then you activate for that specifically stated goal.

Interestingly enuff i just re'ved a note from someone who went back & PhR some books from a couple yrs. ago w/ Natural Brilliance being one of them. He said that all he had to do was PhR b/c it all just came back to him. He was PhRing for goal setting.

Just thought I'd share an experience I had some time ago.

I photoread a book on mind mapping by Tony Buzan perhaps 12 - 18 months ago.

One day when I was going through the photoreading course I decided I wanted to know more about mind maps and how to use them effectively.

I don't know quite what made me pick up the book (I'd almost forgotten I had it) but I thought of what I needed to know/what information would be useful to me and then actually turned to the exact page I needed.

To say i was amazed is an understatement - this was certainly something that proved to me that photoreading does work !

Tim_with_a_T,

I suppose that three things will happen to the old neural connections or pathways from your pring session.

they would get squashed and replaced by more frequently used pathways or new ones.

the pathways may remain intact but dont get used.

they would just become weak and die like unused muscle.

ccteach,

i dont have many ideas yet.

i think that re-pring might strengthen the connections but who knows?

(probably Paul Scheele and neuro scientists)
