I find the tape, Memory Supercharger quite relaxing and all, but I am a bit curious what I am supposed to do while I am listening to the tape, I mean do I listen to one or other of the stories or try to listen to both of them at the same time or do I not even pay attention, just trying to relax. I tried to find some advice by doing a search but I didn't have much luck. Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm confused about what you are asking. You indicated which stories should you be listening to. There are "no" stories recorded on the tape, just Paul's voice getting you to relax with some visualization technigues and affirmations coupled with brain entrainment alpha waves(binural beats)embedded in the sounds of the ocean going to the left and right ear simultaneously. The information received in the left ear is different than the right. The main goal here I think is to become relaxed so that you can receive the affirmations that will have a dramatic impact on your memory and body.

Another thing, the tape is used to stimulate the left and right hemisphere's of the brain.
We all tend to use the left side of our brain which is the analytical/logical side more so than the "creative" right side. One of the purpose of the tape is to balance both hemispheres so that information can flow more readily between the two. It is said that the concious thought is related to the left/logic side and the subconcious is related to the right/creative side. When you photoread your are reading with the subconcious, that's why you have no concious recollection of what you have just photoread. A bridge or super highway must be created to link the two halves together than information will flow smoothly from the subconcious to the concious.

Sorry for the multiple replies, one more thing that I forgot don't try to distinquish one side from the other, meaning what's being said in the left ear versus the right. Just sit back, listen, relax and enjoy!!!!!

If you can go one step further keep yourself in a theta brain state, you'll get the Maximum performance. If not, the alpha state will surfice.

I guess my first comment was poorly worded. I seem to have alot of trouble keeping my mind still and free from "gremlins" and such, I need to focus on something to keep myself from wondering off thinking about what I have to at work tomorrow or a conversation I had last night. It is a big problem while listening to the tape and while trying to use the photo reading system or any part of it. I guess my real question is what is the best thing for me to focus on? Should I try to only listen to what is being said in one ear letting the other side just flow and then the next time do the opposite?? My questions may sound odd or simple but I am very new to all of this, this is the first and only paraliminal that I own so far. thanks.

There was an instruction sheet that accompanied your paraliminal tape called "How to use paraliminal tapes". If you still have it, please re-read it. It will tell you exactly how to listen to them and the do's and dont's also, and what you should expect.

When I am listenting to the tape I try to concentrate on the story about the forest and all that and attempting to visualize the scene Paul is setting. But I am still aware of what is being said in the other ear. That seems to work pretty good for me.

Well, what worked for me is focussing on the background sounds (flowing water, I think) - it's in the middle between the two voices, something to focus on and relaxing.

Another thing you can try is listening *only* to the left or right channel to get consciously aware of what Paul Scheele is saying. In this way, you don't have to ask yourself if you missend something in one channel while listening to the other.

Good Luck,

Jens
