Rhino:
For a book that intimidates me, or one that i really need to know, this is what i have done successfully: I use the Personal Genius tape to set the goal. Then i PhR the book until i get a "feel" for it. I also use Memory Supercharger b/f sleep.
This has worked very well. If i'm intimidated or feel challenged, i don't even bother w/ previewing or trigger words. I just PhR it in combination w/ those 2 tapes. Plus, i only use Personal Genius once. I will use Memory Supercharger at night a few times.
What has happened in the past is that i just suddenly get a feeling that it is something i can do. The intimidation leaves me & i just suddenly get ideas how to tackle the information. It's at that point that i do the preview & pull trigger words. Or, i'll decide where i want to start if it's a very large book w/ lots of information.
Activating is pulling it all together. However, if i'm very challenged, forget it. I need to acually feel that i can do it. I have completed books w/ terrific success & been tested to prove this success. So, for me, PhRing to get comfortable has definitely worked. I hope this is what you were asking about.
